They removed a fence panel to access a large tree stump that had sprouted 10 foot branches near and under my fence. After surrounding the area with heavy net barriers to prevent collateral damage, they brought in a stump grinder, ground up the stump after using a chainsaw to remove the sprouted branches, smooth-raked the area, replaced the fence panel secured it with screws, and made it look like nothing ever happened. I'd gotten several wildly different estimates, and Justin came in with both the best price as well as a recommendation from a trusted business associate of mine. The price was right and his team did an amazing job. Their clean up work was also excellent. The whole project was better than expected. Justin and his team was back out to my property in 2017 to do major tree trimming. I had several large trees with branches large and small either touching or way too close to the house. Again, right price and excellent work. Today, Feb. 7, 2019, Justin and several of his crew are here with a crane taking down three large trees in my backyard and one dead tree in the front. After watching them expertly swing an entire, large tree up over my house and into the driveway for chopping up, I have to say I continue to be impressed. I had 2 dead ash trees (damned emerald ash borers), each over 100 feet tall, a large hickory that…read morewas encroaching on my roof, and an approximately 115-foot poplar that was dropping small branches on my deck (alive, but unsafe for us where it was). I had 3 different contractors out to look at them. Justin's pricing was comparable to one and a bit lower than the other one, but I was impressed by his demeanor and his obvious knowledge of local trees, so I chose him--and am very glad I did. His team showed up right on time and the 40-ton crane followed. No problems navigating our narrow driveway, and they quickly got to work. They took everything down pretty much the ground, as promised, and cleaned up really well (leaf blowers, picking up small branches for the chipper). Reasonable pricing, quick work, and they're total pros (and it's impressive to see how comfortable Justin was up there working at the tops of the trees). I'll be calling on Reiss Tree Service again when I next need trees removed or pruned back. HIGHLY recommended.
