I responded to them but there was little change. A former peer of mine suggested I engage Barry Clapp Calgary Employment Lawyers as they had used Barry's services and were very happy with them. We engaged Barry and he was professional, personable, and very experienced. He carefully reviewed all the documents and communications and came back to us with recommendations for further negotiations. Several of these were things we would not have even considered or have known to ask for. Being a senior executive, I wanted to do the negotiation myself and Barry, not only agreed to this approach but provided some very valuable coaching to a very successful conclusion. I would highly recommend anyone requiring an Employment Lawyer in Alberta to contact Barry Clapp Calgary Employment Lawyers. Top quality service from a very experienced lawyer at a very reasonable price.

I want to thank Jeff Kahane for personally reaching out to me after learning of some concerns we…read morehad after working with them to purchase our home. I was under the impression that they had to send our title to our HOA but after speaking with Jeff he clarified that land titles is not only running behind, but that they typically don't send that off to anyone but the home owner. He pulled our title and emailed me a copy right away. There was also some miscommunication between the sellers of the house and their lawyers regarding city tax payment, resulting in us being charged a penalty for late payments (payments that were due before we took possession). When I discussed this with Jeff he said that he would look into this further as it seems their paperwork was correct and the sellers were supposed to have paid for the month. Jeff called me back right away to confirm this was the case and is working with the other law office to get us reimbursed. I did have some issues with phone calls not being returned, but after speaking with Jeff he informed me that our contact there had been on holidays and apologized for any lack of communication on their end. I am quite impressed with Jeff and his desire to ensure good customer service. I really appreciate his taking the time to clarify some misunderstandings and to help me better grasp what their role is in the process of securing our home.

Mark Crossfield was referred to us by our bank when we were making updates to a mortgage and our title. We figured following the recommendation was better than cold calling someone out of the phone book (or more realistically Google as we don't have a phone book). It was easy to get a convenient appointment with Mark on short notice. He was well organized and prepared for our visit and explained things well using everyday terms and let us know what steps we'd need to take. He took the time to answer our questions and to ask us some good questions we hadn't thought of. The visit took just as long as he said it would and everything was taken care of in one shot. He even sent us a follow up email with tips that related to one of our questions. He was reasonable priced and what he charged us for was exactly as expected. As a first time mortgagee I was a little unsure what to expect and he put my mind at ease and delivered everything in a timely, hassle free fashion.
