I knew at the time of rescuing my pup he was going to need some special attention due to some issues I noticed. Plenty of people recommended plenty of vets but upon reading those reviews none were anywhere I wanted to take my new best friend. Brick Town Vet not only had plenty of reviews to read, they were mostly all positive and thorough. Now, on to the vet. Renee answered the phone with a positive attitude and let me run on about how great this pup was that just came into my life. She was patient, answered all my question and worked with me on making an appointment that fit in my schedule. Even when asking what his colors were she got excited to meet him once I explained what he looked like. When I got to the office the staff went above and beyond to make myself and my pup feel welcome. Everyone during his exam (Sorry, I forget everyones names) was informative and knowledgeable, if they didn't have an answer they found someone who did. He has since returned for surgery and I couldn't be happier. This was the first time I would be leaving him somewhere since i brought him home. The Dr. took time to meet with me and explain everything that was going to happen during his surgery. They informed me I could call every half hour if I wanted to check on him. I didn't feel the need to call until they reached out with an update as I felt he was in very good hands. I picked him up from surgery and everything went smooth with no complications and the price for what he had done was more than fair. They thoroughly explained what care I needed to provide during his recovery and again made sure that I knew I could call 100 times a day if needed. Bottom line, not happy with your vet or looking for a new one, Brick Town Veterinary is my pups new forever vet!

We brought our senior cat there a few times over the last several months but he kept declining! Needless to say we made a tough decision to finally say goodbye to him today! He was over 13 years old yet the vet came in to try and talk us out of it and run more tests??? Are you kidding me? They will never get another penny from us and our pets deserve better than that!

She is patient , kind and super helpful and exactly the type of vet any fur parent would want. I wasn't able to be there myself and had a list of annoying questions and still they were answered. I really do find the staff , location and Drs here to be fantastic people and feel so lucky that we have a animal hospital so close !

Besides the call reporting the lab results and confirming the diagnosis, no further information was provided except to change to a new diet. After the shock wore off, we of course had questions and concerns so we emailed the office. The first was what was the choices of food since the Hill Science k/d food is so vile even smelling it is sickening and not a favorite of George or us. We found another lamb based variety and asked for the vet to weigh in. After hearing nothing, we called 3 more times and were assured the vet or assistant would get back to us. We also made an appointment to talk in person but meanwhile we needed the food and supplement question answered now. Nothing but crickets, excuses and apologies unfortunately George is still not eating right and sliding fast. I really don't care about the doctor that is out with hip surgery. You knew well in advance he was going...it's not like he fell off a ladder and called out sick. This is the point where truly good vets rise to the top and others sink. Please be aware that the posted hours of operation are not even close to correct. They close randomly due to staff issues and even don't open on days they are suppose to be open. That is the first sign of a business in distress. That wouldn't be an issue except no one monitors the messages or emails. This is particularly dangerous since the office is listed as an "emergency" clinic. The office staff is like a revolving door of personnel day to day so the person who promised an answer by the end of the day disappears into the abyss. This is heartbreaking as we recommended this office to the community and as it turns out they are just as mediocre or worse than every other vet in South Jersey...lousy office staff follow thru and chock full of excuses. Oh, we ordered the new food and supplements so George won't suffer and thinking about cancelling the office visit.

Each time we canceled due to uncertainty, the office staff was very understanding. When the time came for Dr. Fuchs and his assistant Debbie to arrive, both were kind and patient with us. After having to make this difficult decision many times in my life with our beloved pets, this experience with Dr. Fuchs and Debbie was calm and peaceful, and exactly the way we hoped to say goodbye to Bailey. We would highly recommend their services.

But, when one of my own dogs suffered a cruciate tear on an already compromised leg, we went to the Toms River, NJ office. The care and consideration given to both pet and owner is astonishing in today's world. There is never a sense of a rush, never a sigh when something needs to be revised or repaired. EVERYBODY clearly loves the dogs and every effort is made to keep them comfortable and happy and fear free, even when they need to stand still for scary things like casting. My girl absolutely adores visiting her friends at My Pet's Brace and she gets so excited when we make the turn into the parking lot. Even better than the care are the results. Grits' leg is stronger and has much more muscle than it did before her custom brace was created - one that can be taken apart to support just her hock when she no longer needs knee support. It's ingenious - and very, very effective. I fact, we were there today because she needed an adjustment since her thigh is so much more muscular than it was last fall. The best of the best in our opinion.

The staff, the vet tech and the doctor treated my cat Sofia and I with compassion, empathy, kindness and hands down best experience I've had at a vet. They showed me how to administer both medications. 1 in an eye dropper and other inside the cats ear. This is my first Yelp review and they definitely deserve 5 stars. She almost caused me to poison 1 when she told me to put a full can of pumpkin in each meal. Luckily a friend is a Vet but lives in VA. When I mentioned it's 1 tsp per 10lbs she struggled with why we were there is we had a vet already. Explained a few times she lives states away. Then she accused my fiancé brought a different woman when she first began with our mate brothers, but it was always me as I found them! Very unprofessional. Always need to ask for answers, whether it's an anal gland expression or a serious ear infection. We wanted everyone to be made aware that she is wrong giving advice and can be very sarcastic if you ask a question! Save yourself the nightmare as I did not want to return after her refusing fiancé to hold his dog while being put down. We did see her when we got our rescues and my fiancé witnessed her disrespect and rude responses, trying hard to shame ya if you ask a question! If your pet is considered a family member like ours are, look for a caring and trusting vet elsewhere as we have many we wish we went with first!

It is so clear that she and Kristie love what they do and I NEVER felt nervous leaving my dog and cat with them. They are extremely flexible with scheduling, consistent in their communication and my pets absolutely loved them. From daytime visits while I was at work to long weekends and a 7 day vacation, I never had to worry about my babies. Their prices cannot be beat and there is nothing more important than piece of mind when it comes to your pets. This is a great company, run and staffed by people who truly care about their work.
