I went to Professional Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine after an ankle injury. My podiatrist…read morerecommended I find a local option for convenience, so I chose this location since they have offices in Franklin. There was limited availability for an initial appointment, so I joined the waitlist and was able to move up when an opening came up, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, from that point on, the communication from the office became extremely aggressive and overwhelming. After scheduling my appointments, I received a constant stream of calls and texts--often multiple times a day--trying to get me to reschedule or add additional visits. If I didn't answer, they would call again, leave multiple messages, and follow up with texts. It felt less like coordination and more like relentless pressure. What really crossed the line was being contacted multiple times on Mother's Day while I was with my family. At that point, it felt invasive and completely out of touch with basic boundaries. It ultimately became so disruptive that I cancelled all of my appointments. The therapists may be excellent, but the front office communication is excessive, intrusive, and difficult to manage. Because of that, I would not recommend this practice.

ARB is more than a group of chiropractors as advertised here. They offer a variety of services to…read moredeal with pain, recurring or chronic sport injuries, and discomfort. They obviously also offer chiropractic services and consultations but that is not what brought me into contact with them. Dr. Abbie (Zubiel) has treated me every time I go in to see her. It is primarily for maintenance for a partially torn glute medius that happened about 2 years ago. I started treatment and physical therapy in North Carolina and re-aggravated it after about 6 months moving to here. I immediately began searching for a treatment spot that mimicked my one in NC and found ARB online. They treat a number of local athletes, teams, and weekend warriors which means they understand what our lifestyle is and what problems it can often lead to. Abbie treated me not only in a completely professional and mature manner, but also took my opinions and preferences into consideration when treating me. It was not the burn-and-churn or "just give it some rest" that so many highly touted sports physicians have given me over the years (including a couple at Duke Sports Medicine). The goal was to incrementally get better and moving which was accomplished over 3 visits. She even gave me the "don't do anything stupid" talk that I frequently got from my practitioner in NC (always given with a wink and a smile). I continue to go for maintenance and always recommend whenever anyone asks me what I do to keep on top of my recovery and prevent injury. One of the best things about ARB is they also work with a number of the local health insurances that are offered in Boston. This means you can get treatment and not have to pay out of pocket for every visit over the co-pay and any miscellaneous charges that may arise which are not covered by insurance (like the $5 dry-needling charge).

Dr. Di Salvo is a treasure…read more I've been seen by a myriad of different chiropractors over my lifetime and she is hands down my most favorite by far. She fixed a variety of issues that I had and was creative in her problem solving. She is down-to-earth and pleasant to be around. Her goal is to help you heal you enough so that you aren't dependent on frequent adjustments. In the less than 3 months that I've been under her care, we've been able to scale back from 2 visits per week to 2 visits per month without any backsliding or issues arising thus far. I can't recommend her enough.

After a lot of due diligence, Karen made it happen for me and I now see Steven for PT. Steven is a fantastic Therapist. I can't even imagine what condition my arm would be in if I didn't start to see him. We are working our way through my many body parts that were compromised in the accident and I have to admit, I am impressed with him. I will highly recommend Steven to anyone that needs bodywork. He really knows his stuff.

I am so incredibly lucky to have found this place after having knee surgery. I had an osteotomy…read morewhich meant I was at PT for about five months. This was an extremely painful recovery which involved breaking through scar tissue, and getting my knee to bend from 30 degrees, back to full motion. Stephen was outstanding! When the pain got rough, he was great at distracting me or at least making me laugh and not focus so much on my leg. The moments when I felt like I'd never recover he was great at being encouraging, while remaining honest. He spends a lot of time answering any questions, and I never felt rushed. I honestly can't believe the progress I've made, it seemed so impossible but Stephen got me through. You will not regret having PT here. Jodie and Diane at the front desk are also so kind and helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure you have the appointments you need, and that your insurance is all in order. Although I don't want to need PT anymore, I kind of miss going there!
