This is the only drywall company I have dealt with, but I hope others are better. They took 3-4…read moreweeks in what was pitched as a 2 week job. At the end, things seemed okay, but as we looked closer, their details were terrible. They got so much excess mud on the existing house, walls, garage floor, new tub, and trim. They hung and mudded drywall right into the trim rather than removing the trim first. We found an extension cord that the drywall was installed over, so the only way to get the cord out was to cut a small hole in the brand new drywall. There is an outhouse on site, but they kept using the bathroom and we had to sweep and clean mud off the fixtures and light switch everyday. They did not cover our existing floor at all, I had to put down resin paper. Then in the end, they ended up charging us 15% more from their original estimate because of the time between estimates. So I ended up paying more for the job with these issues. Their estimate claimed to be paint ready, but there was so much dust on the walls, it would have looked terrible to paint over it. Instead, it took about 8 hours to clean up all the dust from the walls. I would get another estimate before having to deal with this company again.

Once we talked with Matt, we said "He's our guy." It took us 2 years to find the right "forever home" property. Matt was with us every step of the way as we plotted the site, worked with the excavator and designed our new home. He was exceptionally helpful when I wanted to modify the floor plan extensively. On top of every detail. Did everything go according to plan? Of course not. Building projects always have their glitches. We were disappointed with some of the finishing work that was not done by the subcontractors. But Matt was with us every step of the way. He responded to the problems immediately. Offered us acceptable alternatives. Cared enough to make us happy. And listened. Our home was completed in late 2017 and we have been there since early 2018. We love it! Especially the additions that we incorporated like the coffered ceilings, exterior extensions, large pantry, walk-in shower, pocket doors and undercounter (giggle) lights in the kitchen. Matt's ability to listen and solve problems with a minimum of muss and fuss is worthy of my highest level of respect. He has integrity. Not planning on building any other homes, but, if we did, Matt would be our guy. No question.
