The negligence is, honestly, hard to comprehend. My father went in on a Friday. By Sunday, he didn't receive his bipap(life saving device) the first night and the second, the nurse put it on wrong and forgot to turn it on. By Sunday, he had a fall(not observed) and found they are not sure how long after. O2 82 which is a need to call 911, nevermind he fell and was on Eliquis. The nurse told us on Sunday morning that she would put in for bloodwork. After 4 hours we requested an ambulance. The supervisor, Grace, stated we were inpatient and there was no need as his O2 was fine. Meanwhile, he was showing signs of delirium along with inconsistent O2. My father died on Tuesday at 12:25pm. He was brought to the the ER on Sunday at our request and their defiance, was admitted to PCU upon arrival and died less than 48 hours later. We are reporting to Dept of Heath etc.

The only person that tried was the PT can't remember his name. We pulled him out of there AMA but he was so depressed and was not improving at all. My Dad had bed sores on the both feet and lower back. He was there for rehab after being hospitalized for kidney issues. He was ambulatory and living on his own and driving prior to hospitalization then became quite deconditioned and needed rehab. The food was inedible and the admission nurse even said that. But that was minor to what he experienced at this horrible facility . The real reason I am writing this is because my Dad had weeping wounds on his legs and I came in to see the room full of flies, landing on his legs and food. The Air conditioning unit was not flush in window with big gaps to the outside (by the way it was October) I went to the nurses station to complain and ask for it to be fixed, the "charge nurse" said they would take of it on Monday, I said that is not acceptable, asked her if they had any duct tape or something to fix it, and she said as I walked away "who does she think I am? I am an RN not a fix it person" well I so happen to be an RN employed at a Boston hospital, so I said well so am I and I had packing tape in my car and fixed the a/c unit to secure from outside. the attitude by almost all of the staff was horrific. the case managers and others were not helpful and had no intentions on dealing with these issues. poor care, bad attitudes, disgusting facility that should be shut down by the state! NEVER let you love on stay here!! wish I was able to give 0 stars

Patients are treated with genuine care, and it clearly shows in the staff's daily interactions. As a private duty nurse working with individuals who have dementia, I have seen many facilities and never have I found one I would feel comfortable recommending for my own family an. South Cove Manor is an exception. I would confidently choose this facility if such care were ever necessary. The majority of residents are Asian, though the facility is welcoming to all. Staff members speak a variety of Asian languages, which is a significant benefit for residents and families. While I have not personally tried the food, I have not heard any complaints. Residents appear well-adjusted, well-supported, and consistently cared for at a high level--something I cannot say about most places in this industry. A+

I was hopeful about going here for PT until I started treatment. The space is really beautiful and…read morethey are pretty quick to get you in for an initial appointment (you need a script from your PCP first though) After one evaluation and 2 sessions, I realized they weren't experienced with treating chronic pain even though they knew that's what I came in for. I ended up getting pretty hurt because in my second session my overzealous PT had me do some exercises that just weren't appropriate for where I am at. Although at that session she explained that they probably weren't a great fit for me because they aren't used to chronic pain, I just wish I was told that outright. Or even at the end of the evaluation. The plus side of this place is that, unlike most PT offices, there is a lot of space and privacy when you meet with a PT. I'm sure they do a decent job with the generic one time knee/whatever injury kind of pain but because of my experience I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. *Note, they aren't at 280 Washington St anymore- they're at 20 Guest St. Brighton in the New Balance Building

I have received PT from multiple agencies over the past 10 years, including Kennedy Bros, ProSports…read moreand Mt Auburn, for different issues. But I have never had such rapid relief as I did when treated by Keith Foley. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a herniated cervical disc with impinged nerve. I went to PT for 6 months with little improvement, although I lost fitness when the therapist had me stop all other fitness activities. Since then, I have lived with chronic daily pain in my neck and shoulders, as well as frequent migraines, despite having tried dry needling, acupuncture, trigger point injections and therapeutic massage. Most recently, I developed shoulder pain from a presumed rotator cuff tear, for which I received PT from Keith. Keith bases his treatment approach on the MacKenzie and Maitland methods. Google it - it makes sense. His practice is patient-centric, focused on how the injury functions within the patient's daily activities, the patient's other symptoms and response to treatment. Treatment includes daily exercises, but also mindful postural resets to be practiced throughout the day, when sitting, typing, standing, walking, sleeping. For the first time, I have a movement plan to treat increased symptoms when they occurred, including when to use pain meds. Keith focuses on patient education, and always teaches the rationale behind his treatment. For the first time in years, I have pain free days. I am using about a third of the medication I needed when I started seeing him 2 1/2 months ago. Keith is professional, articulate, sensitive and intelligent. Not only does he check in with how I am doing during the treatment, but he will also answer questions by email between sessions. He has also suggested literature and videos to support his treatment. I cannot recommend Keith Foley highly enough. Note that Keith may travel between Spaulding locations, so be sure to check his availability before registering. The office at Brighton Landing is clean, and spacious, with ample space for therapy without feeling you are involved in other patient's business. Treatment rooms are three-walled, with a full curtain for privacy. Keyed lockers and a shower room are available. Parking is free with a validated ticket in the garage across the street. The location is convenient to Soldier's Field Rd/Storrow Dr., in the building across from WGBH. The office staff is courteous and competent. I have not had trouble getting my preferred early morning time slots; they are also opened in the evening. Initially I waited a week for my evaluation.
