I also had the Tandoori Chicken which seemed more like it was cooked like fajita chicken rather than in a Tandoori oven. The chicken had more spice, but still pretty understated. I did watch him picking his nose prior to serving up my meal. Ewww.

I asked the manager to give me some guidance to get something spicy, but not hurt myself. He was very capable in giving that guidance. Dinner was fantastic. I've been here twice with some friends and both times we've gone away more than satisfied with the whole experience. They pride themselves on serving some of the best Indian food in the city and each dish is presented immaculately. The menu has loads to choose from and the last time I was in I went for the Balti Chicken Passanda. It seemed to take no time to arrive and tasted creamy with a great range of flavours. All the meat which they use is of the highest quality and you can definitely taste the difference in all their meat dishes. We all spent no more than £15 each, including drinks, rice and tips, and we'll hopefully be back sometime soon.

And that's saying a lot since I've eaten Indian cuisine all over the world. I had the lamb biryani which was fantastic. Medium spice was the perfect heat. My mother got the chicken curry and the chicken was perfectly cooked - very tender. We had regular and garlic naan, which we two massive pieces of naan. Great tasting and textured naan. One piece is good for 2 people, so we were very happy. Note - if the dish doesn't say it comes with rice, I recommend ordering a side of rice. The side is a small bowl of rice. Service 5/5: The staff is very friendly and come to ask you if everything is okay. The food comes out quickly and fresh too. Overall 5/5: One of the best Indian cuisines I've had. Glad I stopped in and they took us!

I know what sekuwa is, and it was far from that. Upon arriving there are a few people waiting for their takeaway. There were only about 6 tables and the seats were still stacked up with 2 tables where the dirty plates were still lying around. When we told them we need a table for 3, then they started cleaning the tables. This establishment did not provide me with a good first impression as they failed to provide us with menus and there were flies flying around. The menu however was extensive. Seems like their specialty is grill and barbecue as the place was filled with smoke. We had the mixed grill special for 2, Chapli kebab starter, fish pakora, peshwari naan and chappati. I won't go into details for all of them as we ordered quite a lot. I rate this place a 3 as I think I had better Indian food in Edinburgh. The chicken and the lamb chops in the mixed grill were tough and dry. Kebab was only so so and chicken wings was nice. The fish pakora was fresh but I felt a bit under seasoned and a bit overcooked. Chapli kebab was also a bit bland. Overall I think the establishment provided food quality that was just enough to pass as Indian food. I didn't think there was anything spectacular about the food.
