All the amenities are included. You can rent golf carts and they also provide bikes. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to visit again! Great location too. The inn was comfortable with plenty of seating on the first floor for chatting. They have fire pit just across the street by the lake. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the nice weather and fire with Cedar Point off in the distance. Our room was cozy and well appointed. We had a super comfy bed and our own bathroom with shower. Sheets and blanket were perfect. Breakfasts were delicious and meticulously made with ingredients from their garden. My favorite was the frittata with veggies. Coffee, tea and water available 24/7. A nice place we'd happily return to on our next trip to the island.

Tricia's delicious cooking and baking was one of the highlights of the weekend, and home made afternoon sangria was such a treat. I even left the island with one of her recipes for a yummy quiche! The location overlooking the lake is beautiful and they have a private dock at the edge of the water that we really enjoyed sitting on. The rooms are very quaint and filled with antiques. They did not have central air conditioning in the room, so if you like to control the temperature please make note of that. The second floor rooms do seem to get a little warm, but we turned on the fan and opened the windows to catch a lake breeze. The property is about one mile from the ferry marina and the downtown area. A lovely on-island stay.

We unpacked and went right to the deck over looking the lake. Deck is big with 4 tables, a fire pit and lot's of room. Bart took time to tell us all about the area. He gave suggestions for our dinner and then called a local place and got us a private room for dinner. He knew all the best places to go. We had our own coolers stock so we had all of our favorite beverages so we settled in and enjoyed the deck and the lake. Our room had a setting area, a great bed and a wonderful bathroom with a big tub and a shower with a rain head. It was the widest shower head I have ever seen. Great towels and bathrobes. We went to dinner a half mile away and made it back to see a beautiful sunset from the top deck. Yes, 2 decks. The lower deck is ground level and if you are there and so if you want a private place to enjoy the lake go down there. There is also a very large hot tub if you enjoy them. The next morning, we woke to the smell of coffee and went out to the deck and was served a beautiful breakfast by Sandy, Bart's wife and co-owner. If we ever go back to Port Clinton, we will stay there again. My idea of a B & B, have changed. Bart and Sandy were Great Host and Innkeepers. Thanks to them for a great Stay.

You can walk downtown, from The 419, and eat at one of the many unique restaurants. There is also a beautiful park, with awesome bay views, within walking distance too. The room was spacious and very clean. I could tell that the manager is detailed oriented, as everything in the room was very organized. We slept well here on the comfortable bed. There were extra pillows in the room too if guests should need them. Really appreciated the kitchen area because we were able to eat food, that we brought for breakfast and snacks, in the room. If we needed anything while we were staying at The 419, a manager was just a text message away. Highly recommend staying here!

All types of groups can be accommodated *Historic Home - this house has been through generations of families on the island and has a rich history *A/C in rooms - each room has its own window unit and they worked well. The room was a very cool comfortable temperature fairly quickly CONS: *Host...an out and out liar. We caught him in several lies. He upped the price significantly from what was advertised. He also said that rooms were reserved when they were definitely not. He ignored our reservations and was completely rude. He claimed that there would be a "really big special discount" HA! Nothin *No A/C on the main rooms. Not a huge deal as we spent our time in our rooms. If you have a large group that wants to hang out in this house, it's something to consider. *HARD BED...I mean like, sleeping on boards. Both hubby and I woke up sore with our necks in pain. (We were in the wicker room). My parents in the master suite had a nice bed with a huge TV. Overall, the whole family agreed, we don't think Would stay here again. For the Price, I think you could find something same or better. There wasn't any kind of view (but there was a super cute dog named Lester who will fetch any sticks you throw)

Entry was free, but in season there is apparently a charge. Parking is tight all around, but there are a few street spots and a big lot at the park right by the "business district." Many golf carts on the narrow streets. Lots of dogs, and kids, and people just strolling and enjoying the weather and public art, etc.

Avery's is a local favorite, and they have really improved the quality of food and service at the Hotel. The Sunday brunch is great, and they have very good perch meals. They are only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but the views of the lake make this a great stop!
