Maybe because we haven't been to Augusta National, Oak Mont or Pebble Beach... because we actually thought this was a really nice course (at least the front 9, that we saw). Upon arrival, I liked the look of the club house. Looked regal. We normally walk courses but due to a recent calf injury, we got a cart. Cart fee seemed high at $32. Is that normal? Carts are electric and were nice. Staff and members were really nice. I've been places where members were kind of pompous jerks. The old guys we saw here were nice. The one negative was that we didn't like that the driving range was on the other side of the road. We didn't have a ton of time practice prior to our tee time. Had it been easier to get to, perhaps my son could have hit some. The course itself was pretty nice too. Fairways and greens were well kept. The main negative was that there were TONS, I mean TONS OF RED FIRE ANT HILLS EVERYWHERE. One of the dads in our group stood in one and got bit. Ick. It has been really wet lately but I don't recall seeing any of the last few course we have been to. There were a few challenging holes for the kids. More water hazards that we have seen in other courses. #9 was a doozy. Overall, I thought it was a nice course.

Nearly every green is full of crab grass, tee boxes are in bad shape, and a lot of the fairways and some of the greens look like a mangy dog missing grass. They even went up on range balls which were once a really fair pricing. Not sure where this money from the price increase is going too but they need to really start taking care of this course better to justify it. Staff is always great and never any issues there, just course conditions need to be worked on. I'd like to add that paying a green fee no matter the cost is no issue as long as the course meet those expectations. It gets to a point where it seems like a cash grab instead of trying to make it a great experience for players.

There's a real sense of community here, you feel it at local events, schools, and even just driving through town. People are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help out, which makes it such a great place to raise a family. I recently had a work function at Top Golf for some team bonding and fellowship. We had a great…read moretime, and I would recommend it for any large party, happy hour, etc I wasn't responsible for the bill so I can't speak to the exact costs, but I know you pay by the bay, and you can book 60min, 90min, or 120min and each bays can have 4 players. We also had a catered meal/spread prepared by the Topgolf kitchen. It was actually incredibly delicious. We had biscuit, chicken breaks, green beans, Mac & cheese, salad, and much much more. One thing we did find slightly interesting and odd is that there was a "1hr rule" that the food would be taken away after an hour. We were there for a couple hours, and maybe it has something to do with the safety of the food and being left out (danger zone temperatures). They gave us plenty of warning before packing it back up We also took advantage of their bar which offers beer, wine, cocktails, etc. we did have to wait a lot to e for some of our drinks and there are different pint/glass sizes and at one point we had to wait until more were available at the bar. This location, like most Topgolfs is 3 stories, with dozens of all-weather bays. There are different tracer games to choose from so you can compete with your party members. Each bay has an assortment of golf clubs, but you can always bring your own. We couldn't find our waitress for about 20 minutes to ask for the missing items, which was frustrating considering how quiet it was.
