Please note Arlene is the owner and provides the services. Privacy & Atmosphere The space is very small and intimate, and clients may overlap. If privacy matters during services where you're partially undressed, keep that in mind before booking. Energy & Professionalism Nearly every visit involved long, negative conversations about personal issues, family drama, or complaints about other clients. I eventually started bringing AirPods just to tune it out. Given that pattern, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm now the topic of conversation as well. Appointments were routinely 30-60 minutes late, with scheduling mix-ups where I was mistaken for another client and received hostile messages before the mistake was realized. On one visit, her elderly mother was present during my service, which felt very unprofessional given the intimate nature of the treatment. Final Experience For my last appointment, which I scheduled a week in advance, I arrived early and was told she would be late. Shortly after, the timing changed again and part of the service I booked was no longer being offered. When I calmly addressed the repeated timing issues, the conversation quickly became hostile and I was told it didn't matter if I filed a complaint or left a review. Ironically, this was the first time I was treated as a "problem" client despite the fact that earlier she had even asked me to record a testimonial about her services. If I was truly a difficult client, that request wouldn't have made much sense. Bottom Line I showed grace multiple times, but repeated negativity, disorganization, and personal matters affecting clients is unacceptable. Regardless of the price paid, clients are still paying customers, and the merchant sets the price of their own services. Affordable prices may attract customers, but professionalism, respect for clients' time, and a peaceful environment are what keeps them. Final Note Given that I was told reviews don't matter, I'm curious to see whether the merchant responds professionally, ignores this entirely, or responds in the same tone I experienced when raising my concerns. Lastly, the 13 whopping client reviews spread across Groupon and Yelp speaks volumes and are misleading. But hey see for yourself and don't foget your airpods!
