My wife and I had the chef surprise 4 course menu with wine pairing, and what a treat it was. From a very simple cheese and salad amuse bouche, smoked sea bass and mixed fish starter, an incredible house smoked duck breast (with home made fig and nut chutney) and a very interesting rabbit ragu and finally a desert collection; everything was perfect! Wine pairings were also very interesting, all obscure European sourced wines that matched the food perfectly. Including, something I had never heard of before, a pinot grigio from Luxembourg. If you like good, French style, food I strongly suggest you try De Eetkamer. Heck, the next time you are in the Netherlands and you like good food, this place is worth a visit. You may have noticed all my reviews to date on Yelp have been 5 star, this is deliberate. Life is too short to focus on that which does not make us happy.
