My experience with attorney Joe Thigpen during my mother's probate case has been very upsetting…read more During the probate hearing, he brought up a legal matter from about ten years ago -- something that had already been resolved through a plea agreement long ago -- and used it to argue that I was unqualified to serve as executor, even though my parents personally named me as their chosen executor in their will. I felt this was unnecessary, unfair, and had nothing to do with my actual ability to handle my mother's estate. That old issue has been resolved for years, and I have had no other convictions since. Bringing it up in this way made the probate process much more stressful and made me feel that my parents' wishes were not respected. This review is based on my personal experience.
