Replying to Martha T. from Tyler, TX. I have a review on Scott Killough too. In 2006 my sisters…read moreand I fought killough and the crooked judges in Tyler for 4 and a half years trying to get guardianship of my nephew who was put in a nursing home instead of allowing him to be rehabilitated from a TBI injury. We filed as sisters "in Propria Persona, proceeding Su Juris etc...". In the end we made three case laws, had judge Getz recused and had Roger's for Abuse of Discretion twice. Unheard of in Tyler, TX and atty. Bandy disbarred. Those cases were dismissed by the Supreme Court of Texas but not before Killough was Not allowed to be a Guardian Ad Litem ever again and he had to 'eat' $101,000 in ad litem fees and was sanctioned over another hundred thousand dollars. Look up the cases for Luke Forrest Humphrey, Tyler, Texas. Luke died August 19, 2009. Two of the Texas Supreme court judges wanted to hear this case but we needed three to agree to hear it. The same day Luke died, one resigned, and the other one decided Not to seek reelection. My sister fired 4 different attys, and we fought this by ourselves. Killough tried every way he could to get rid of us but we stood our ground.

My review of Scott Kilough is based upon his participation in my Mother's guardianship hearing. My…read moreMother had been taken from her assisted living facility without my knowledge. She was taken to the Austin area, she was sequestered in my brothers house. She had terminal Cancer and she slept in my brother's living room on a couch. Scott Killough mockingly told me that my Mom was fine with that. I filed with the court to try and get my Mother back. When the mock hearing came around, the presiding Judge never said a word. The decisions for the care of my Mom most likely had been decided before the hearing. My sister in law became her guardian. She didn't care for her very well because I found bed sores on her body the last time I saw her. I was chastised and threatened for reporting that. Before the hearing, I had taken care of my Mom for two years but I was told At the hearing that I would be timed and monitored when I visited my Mom. I believe there was an implication, via the visiting restrictions that I had abused my Mom. What kind of a person would limit the visitation between a daughter and a Mother when she was dying????
