They seem to care about us as people and not just our numbers. Wayne Barton went above and beyond helping a family member of mine who had all kinds of problems working with H and R block. They told her she had to pay several thousand dollars and I told her to walk out, immediately called Wayne and it was taken care of. She ended up not having to pay anything. Oh did I mention this was the day her taxes were due. Try doing that anywhere else. I dare say that in the "dog-eat-dog" business world nowadays, it has become the exception rather than the rule to find an individual or organization that seeks the best interest of their client(s). Paul Hicks and his office staff represent that exception. They literally roll out the carpet for their clients, whether individual or business, large accounts or small accounts, and they are pretty good and patient at listening to your needs, and their services are very affordable. They are highly ethical in their practices and stay up to date on professional and statutory regulations/standards to ensure that they provide top-notch advice to their clients in various aspects of business, financial and accounting services. Finally, and on a personal note, I and my wife count ourselves very fortunate to know them and to use their services which we highly recommend without any reservations to anyone desiring professional, prompt, and proficient service. I had several accountants prior to using them and not only were they more expensive, they cost me money by missing deductions in my tax returns. Paul saved my almost $5k the first year we used him. Year after year his excellent guidance has continued to pay dividends. We consult with him quarterly to go over our books and see advice he has for us. This has helped us to have a better financial plan for our business as we move forward and to be prepared for adversity and changes in our business structure as we grow. We highly suggest Paul Hicks & Associates to our friends and employees for their accounting needs and everyone has had positive feedback about their experiences as well.
