I've only ever had one before, so when I moved, this was a huge pain, but I finally found South Tampa Dentistry! The staff has been polite and efficient each time I called / went in, and I saw Dr. Wyatt my first few visits, who he was great. I went in for a last minute appointment once and he wasn't available, so I saw Dr. Mark, and he's been my new favorite dentist ever since! He's gone out of his way to make sure I got the best care quickly and made my concerns a priority. (Idk where these people that left bad reviews went, but they must have the wrong Dr. Mark! )

I was like "oh wait I am not sure what I did wrong, I just don't understand why I would need them" they said we need you to leave. And he kicked me out, 9 months pregnant and all. I have never ever been treated like that before in my life, just incase some of you might have questions about your teeth - they don't tolerate that at all. So wild, not educating the patience or helping them get the right care. My husband called saying hey why are you treating my wife like this and the doc said I am twisting the words and was argumentative just to argue (that's not my personality). I have never met a doctor who does not appreciate question. In all sincerity I was actually trying to understand, but they clearly didn't like that. Really wished they treated me more kind. And I kind want people to know what to expect coming to this place, so that's why I am Leaving this review. Also, I just read the other reviews and I guess this isn't the first weird thing about x-rays! The senior hygiene lady was so mean to me too! I m not sure why this place can get away with treating people like this.

For the first time in my life- I am beyond happy with my visit! (Like seriously I have texted everyone, raved about it at work to my coworkers who don't care, and am now leaving this review). This was my first visit to Coast Dental. It starts with me entering the office, and you are in direct view with 3 dental assistants. Every single one of them was busy (you know working), and every single one of them looked up at me, smiled, acknowledged me, said hi, and offered to help me sign in. (Literally never happens at any doctor's office you go to). I then sit down (in this beautiful comforting lobby), pull out my homework expecting a 20-30 minute wait time (per usual in doctors' offices), and I do not even think I read 1-2 pages and I was already called back. Debbie brings me back (super nice) and informs me that because I am a new patient I am only here to get X-rays. I'm a tad bit bummed, and I say so because I thought I had also scheduled a cleaning too, but I had not. Oh well, I shall be back again. Already enjoying the experience -and I hate dental offices. Anyways....X-rays are given in your seat (best thing ever), and they have the tiniest chip thing (because I am very sensitive, and they talked me through the whole thing and made me feel so comfortable). After X-rays are done, Debbie managed to talk to Natalie -the hygienist- and she can see me after all! She does her exam, and then performs the cleaning. Let me just say, first off best cleaning ever. I could actually tell a difference. But also, I could see it in the way she cleaned my teeth. She went over and over and over again making sure every teeth was cleaned properly (no joke). All the while giving me great advice on what I should use, and what would help me in the long run. Also, supppppper friendly and sweet. I then went back to see Dr. Dylan Bale....where the real test was coming. See he didn't know but the previous dentist I had gone to had said I needed a crown....and I was wondering if a) this was true or b) I was getting ripped off-and clearly hoping I was. He performs his exam, and while I do have two cavities (story of my life -sweet tea and coffee are my downfall), they are baby ones, nowhere near the previous "crown needed." And even better they said they could get them done at the moment, saving me an office visit copay and having to take off more time from work. This literally NEVER HAPPENS. I did turn them down....because I had made prior commitments (to go to the gym! And I did). But obviously will be back again. I have literally had horrible experiences with previous dental offices. So I am so happy to say that I finally found my dentist! And ALLLLLLL the staff is amazing and great and really, really do care about their patients! Thank you, thank you for focusing on not only customer service but also the actual service itself.

The only answer I got was beating around the bush that they're out of network but was told "that shouldn't matter it just means we haven't signed a contract with them". I work in insurance. Dr.King is wonderful! I like her staff and that matters too. I trust Dr.King and if she recommends something, and she has not recommended much as I've had a ton of work done previously, I know she sees a need.
