Let me start by saying that when I first called Tim answered the phone and was upset that I was…read morecalling in the first place and not the shop that did the work before cutting me off while I tried to explain the issue with the transmission they sold us and transferring the call to what I assume is the store/sales manager Mike. (not a great way to start the call) (Note this warranty is transferrable and the whole reason we purchased from them since we were in the middle of moving from one state to another and the only reason we did not have the shop call them directly is because we have moved out of state and are currently looking into working with another shop) I purchased a transmission for $1,725.00 on June 22nd 2020 from Neal Auto Parts with a warranty as stated above. We were sold a lemon for a transmission as after 600 (approx) miles the transmission is now throwing codes P0752 and P0700- again. After contacting the shop that worked on the transmission and Neal's we've been informed that they will replace the parts (which is great) but will only put $50 towards labor. I would understand this if we were close to the end of the warranty or if we were really hard on the car but the transmission should NOT be malfunctioning after only 600 miles. This would leave us with another $700+ bill (on the low side and if the labor rate was only $100) that shouldnt be in exsistence to begin with, as well as risking getting another transmission/selonoid pack from them that could have the same problems. When I contacted Mike at Neal Auto to see if the labor rate is negotable due to the malfunction being so soon after the purchase I was told "We cannot do this and this is why we have the warranty and unfortunatly mechanical things break, it is what it is" "if the selonoid is bad then this must be a known problem" "I understand why you are upset and why you feel like you are being screwed over but again it is what it is" Needless to say this is extremely dissapointing, frustrating, and quite frankly poor business practice. Update: They are so upset about my review and concerns that they have decided they will not work with the shop here and that "technically" we aren't the customer but that the shop that is 12 hours away is and will only work with them. What a bunch of man babies.

The two girls at the front registers were talking- referring to me as "a kid" and that I "was probably intoxicated" while walking around the store. I'd like to make it clear that I was not under the influence while at this location. They were unaware that I could hear them, due to me wearing headphones. The justification for the things they said was "it's okay, he can't hear us, he had headphones on." I ended up putting the products I had planned on purchasing back, and leaving. This was very unprofessional behavior and I do not feel comfortable coming back to this location, or any other location for that matter.

They had no idea that my brother was with me at the time. Because I was a woman did this happen? I hate to say that. But it seemed to be true. As we were leaving the store, some exact thing happens to another lady. Needless to say neither one of us purchased anything from this store. What a scam!!!! Unfortunately they are not trustworthy!

There were 2 vehicles in the parking lot & 2 men in the entire store. Ryan had sunglasses on as he was leaning all on the counter talking to another guy who did the same when I walked in so I saw how inactive their store was. The other guy slowly looked around the store, I wasn't for sure if he worked there or was a customer, however he needed no tending to. (That guy actually came to the front after I'd let the store so it wasn't like he was helping him.) When Ryan told me, "No.", there was a pause & then he said that the weather permi him from doing so. It's not raining & although snow was on the ground, it wasn't snowing either. I'm fully aware that putting a battery in is "at their leisure", however if there is no one else to help, help the person who is asking for it. I just had him to refund me the price of the battery, asked for his name & kindly left the store. Ryan didn't care about the customer or the store....only himself. His safety wasn't jeopardized, we live in the mid-west so it's not like we've never experienced the cold. After leaving that store, I went to another O'Reilly store & an employee named Robert Norris was more than happy to assist me although they didn't have any in stock. He said that he would've gladly put the battery in for me. Autozone ended up getting my money & business......& guess what, THEY had no problem installing the battery bcz most of their employees were already outside when I pulled up assisting other customers.
