Buyer beware of an unusual return policy: I ordered a pistol scope and when received I examined it by hand for clarity and function. As it turned out the eye relief was just way too long. I reached out to Battlehawk Armory and requested a return authorization. They responded promptly stating they don't accept returns on scopes that have been mounted or removed from the box. In my return request I told them I didn't mount the scope. What I can't understand is how a customer is supposed to inspect an item that was ordered sight unseen without removing the article from the box. I tried calling but their phone didn't work. I place an order close to $2700 going on seven weeks ago. I have contacted my credit card company and done a chargeback. Battle Hawk and Armory has refused to issue a refund. They will not answer their phone. They blame the slowness of my order on somebody being sick, which I have all the texts from which are available for anyone to read, if they should contact me. When I checked the package they sent a different firearm. Now that I did the paperwork they said there I nothing they can do . I believe they never had the correct one to begin with as I went back and checked their website and there was no listing. I have the receipt saying the correct one but they shipped a different one . This is a total bush league outfit! Ordered ten 50 round boxes of 22lr match ammo. Any where else they knows to send a "Brick" unless told it is for lot testing. What I received was 10 individual boxes in a bubble wrap that had adhesive on the inside that when I carefully unpacked took the lot number off of over half the shipment. When I informed them by e-mail, won't answer their phones, what had happened they say that is how they always ship ammo. No sorry or what can we do to fix this problem. I ordered a bipod and bipod mount from Battlehawk Armory and it was marked as delivered by FedEx with a picture of a package at someone else's house. I made a claim that was denied by FedEx and they told me that they would only accept a claim from the shipper (Battlehawk Armor) so they could confirm value and so forth. I emailed Battlehawk Armory multiple times asking them for assistance by filing a claim with FedEx and was given email replies showing that Battlehawk Armory was not responsible for shipping . My last email to them (after attempting to call 10 times) very specifically stated that Battlehawk Armory had done their job and shipped my products properly and FedEx had improperly delivered it to an incorrect place but that FedEx REQUIRED a claim to be made by the shipper. If you want a huge pain in the ass should something in your order not show up, try Battle Hawk. I've spent over $6k with Battle Hawk this year. My experiences have mostly been good, with what has become normal delays, some theirs, some shippers. However, recently I bought a bunch of parts, over $700 worth, from them to kit out a friend's AR, and the Midwest industries sight set I ordered showed up missing the rear sight. The package had been opened and the rear sight removed. I contacted Battle Hawk support, twice before a reply, and was told I would have to settle this issue with Midwest Industries. I could have bought it directly from Midwest Industries, but I didn't. I did contact Midwest and of course they told me it was up to Battle Hawk to resolve, as I didn't buy it from Midwest. I let Battle Hawk know what Midwest said, and of course Battle Hawk told me to resolve it with Midwest again. Thank goodness my credit card allowed me to dispute the charge or I would be SOL. I buy a lot of guns and gun parts, and as noted have bought a lot from Battle Hawk. I hate to say it, but they will not get my business anymore. All over an $81 sight. read more
