We went to the family fun center when they opened at noon on the Friday (probably the last early…read moreFriday of the summer schedule), after most kids went back to school, so basically had the whole place to ourselves except for the bowling area. Having no lines for anything was wonderful. The prices for the activities were decent if you paid for the 4 hour pass. Our family went on the go karts, bounce houses, laser tag, bumper boats. We also paid extra to put money on arcade cards to play some games. I thought there was mini golf, but we didn't see it. Some things to note, if you are tall enough to drive the go karts, you cannot go on the bounce houses, however, you can go on the wipeout activity. Also, if you are under the age of three, you cannot go on the bounce houses or do anything at all except for arcade games and the little mini children's area with the free bounce house. I thought the prices for the food and drinks were a little pricey, especially the drinks because they are not refillable. You cannot bring outside food or drinks in and your kids will get thirsty going on the bounce houses. Also, allow for extra time because as soon as you get there, you need to fill out a waiver for every single person in your party even even if they are not doing anything, the kids were able to be on one waiver but you still have to fill out the information for each child which can take time if you have a larger party. One thing that our family did enjoy, was the Christian music playing, and we saw some other Christian verses and such around the establishment. All in all, the kids all had a great time and would want to go back. With the prices, and our large family, it isn't something that we would go back to often, but maybe once a year for some fun.

The experience was GREAT!!! If I could, I would stay there…read moreforever. It is truly a great place to spend time in.

I don't know if this place will ever reopen somewhere else, but they didn't have the common decency…read moreto update their website (last updated Jan 24), social media presence, answer a phone, or otherwise let people know what their new hours are closer to the mall closing down. Went out there with a friend months before the mall closed to see everything still in there but closed. Neighbors in the mall said they opened when they felt like it. You're allowed to carry your own hours, but at least tell us what they are.

My husband and I showed up to The Neutral Zone on a Saturday evening for a date night. I had…read morepurchased a Living Social deal and was looking forward to something different for us to do. The Neutral Zone is located inside Chesterfield Mall. If you are not familiar with the mall, it's important to know that it no longer functions as a typical mall. There are a few businesses still there, mostly providing entertainment (movie theater, pickle ball, The Neutral Zone, etc.), but besides the Cheesecake Factory, you will not have other places to grab food, etc. while there. We arrived to the Neutral Zone, gave our voucher info at the front desk, and headed into the arcade. There are several retro games there to play (Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Frogger, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, racing games, Dance Dance Revolution, and more) as well as two skee ball lanes (only one was working at the time). My husband and I enjoyed playing some games from our childhood and competing with each other to see who could remember how to play what. :) We enjoyed ourselves while there and played all the games we wanted to, but we didn't stay more than an hour to an hour and a half at most -- which was fine with us, but if you were paying full price ($19.95) it would have been disappointing. All in all, I found it to be a fun evening but not something we would probably return to very often. For the retro gamers out there, check them out -- or give them a go for something different to do with your significant other.

Do not let that deter you. The space is much larger than it looks. There is an indoor bar and an outdoor bar with some table games and outdoor seating. There is a separate pick up window for snacks. They offer pizza by the slice, hot dogs and other goodies. The food is cheap and the pizza was solid for the price. The games require tokens which you can purchase at the bar. They have just about every game you could want! Even had a Super Nintendo set up, Dane Revolution, and my all time favorite skee ball!! My Zennial spirit was happy for this bit of nostalgia.

We must be getting old because both our arms started cramping and as of right now sore :) Two levels of childhood fun, dark and sultry, and plenty of drink holder spots to play your games. Spacious. Outdoor patio. Staff friendly. This was a really fun date .
