EXCELLENT service by Bobby and his team at Battery Source in Columbus, GA. I purchased a battery from them for both my vehicle and my wife's a few months ago. We moved out of town recently and had an issue with my battery (first time that has ever happened to me with one of theirs) but Bobby was still able to provide excellent service and get me squared away. Can't say enough good things about them. I only wish I lived closer so I could continue being a customer. Their prices were also much more reasonable than the chain auto parts stores. read more

What can one say about a place to buy batteries? Do they have what you need? They do. I've purchased here more than once and never left empty handed. Car batteries, key fob batteries even batteries for a bathroom scale. Knowledge and friendly staff? Absolutely. Bring in your device or battery and BAM! They go to a shelf and fetch your battery. I've never had to wait while someone punches up inventories in a computer or walked around scratching their head. Car battery problem? Drive in and they test it for power and capacity. Their prices are very reasonable and I have checked all around town. What really prompted me to write today. My car battery I bought less than two years ago was kaput. I thought it would be prorated for a replacement. Showed my receipt, they dropped in a new battery, full free replacement. I can't get any happier than that! read more

Staff is unfriendly, unhelpful and act like you are a problem rather than a customer. This past weekend the cashier "forgot" to put $7 batteries in my bag as I checked out. I was in the store looking for motor oil, was ignored walking in with no one asking me if I needed any assistance and with 3 employee's behind the counter that day. Upon returning home I noticed that some expensive specialty batteries I bought were not in the bag so I called the store to ask them if they were still on the counter. Of course they were and even though I was a "rewards" customer and they had my number and could have called me! So off I went again in 95 degree weather to pick them up and had to delay my oil change due to the vehicle being too hot at that point. I walked in and started to tell one of the employee's the reason I returned and he looked at me like I had 3 heads but luckily the cashier saw me and just handed them to me over the counter without offering any apology whatsoever. Never mind the inconvenience of having to go back to get them but the with the price of gas these days they cost me even more money. If you are so miserable working with the public then find another job where you don't have to deal with them. I plan on telling everyone I know to avoid that store and will go to other auto parts stores that appreciates my business.
