Bought one of their new batteries for a jump box on Amazon. FIRST OFF its clearly used. Second off, it was very poorly packaged. Almost zero packaging at all. To add to this, it was leaking battery acid everywhere. Ruined a rug i had and left my hands burned from the acid. To add to this, im required to pay for this return which is over half of what I paid for it. To add to the poor packaging, not only was it not an "add acid to the cell" deal, it was not labeled as hazardous material so it will definitely be reported to the postal service. My Optima battery gradually grew weaker and weaker so it now cant start the car after sitting over night without being on a battery tender. My car dealer checked out the car and determined the battery needs replacement. Still under the 3 year warranty, I contacted BatteryJack.com and they had me ship the battery to them. My shipping cost was $62. Three weeks later they told me the battery works fine. Yes, it can start the car but only if I keep the battery on a charger. They returned this useless battery to me. I ordered two 6 volt golf cart batteries and never got them. They sent them with a delivery window of a couple of days. The freight company called and told me they would be here the following week. I wasn't going to be home that week and asked them to turn them around. Battery Jack said I refused them, so I was responsible for all freight charges coming back to them. Returned all three as per instructions included with the batteries as well as is on their website. It took six weeks to have my money refunded and dozens of emails, texts and calls. I ordered an Optima D31M battery for my boat. It was delivered 2 days later. To my dismay, when I hooked it up there was no voltage at all. Tried many ways to get a charge in the battery with no success. I contacted Amanda at Battery Jack and she asked me to send a photo with voltmeter hooked up to battery (showing 0.00 volts), which I did. It failed within 5 months and after getting it tested at two locations to verify this company states I would have to pay to ship it back East from California. $60.00 to ship and they would see about warranting it. I ordered a 2018 instead of a 2016 HD Street Glide battery, before I unpacked it, I'd realized I mixed up the years of the jeep and bike. I called, spoke to a gentleman who confirmed my email, but the email with the return shipping label never came. It then took 3-4 calls to contact someone, to return the battery, so now awaiting for reimbursement when they recieve it. Fingers crossed. read more

These guys are amazing!!! I had my two way radio batteries suddenly all die out from age and all of a sudden I'm leaving town with them for two weeks where they are needed. I called on a Friday and spoke with Shannon and told here to do what she could to make sure they were mailed out the same day. From their plant in Illinois to my home in Las Vegas I knew it would be close as I needed them in 5 days. Well, it wasn't even close! The batteries arrived two days later on Monday with days to spare!! I bought a motorcycle battery From Battery Jack Inc online in June of 2020 that had an advertised 3 year free replacement warranty. In June of 2021 while on a charity fund raising ride the battery shorted out and shut the motorcycles motor off while I was going about 50mph. I was able to pull over safely but I was stranded in the middle of nowhere. Luckily there were other riders close by who stopped to help. Attempts to jump start the battery didn't work because the battery was completely shorted out. It ultimately had to be towed back to town. I emailed BatteryJack to file a warranty claim and fairly quickly received an email response from "Dawn" which included a warranty order number and instructions for getting a replacement battery for the defective one. I was told I could either ship the battery to them at my expense or I could send them pictures of the battery being tested and of the test equipment's test results proving the battery is bad. I'm an automotive technician by trade and I have the necessary test equipment. I sent them the requested photos and then for two weeks I never heard back. I had emailed them a couple times and also left voice messages before I finally received a response from Dawn. She apologized stating she had been gone for personal reasons and asked to verify my mailing address to send the battery to, which I did. It's been over two weeks and I've never received the replacement battery and never heard back from them despite sending more emails and leaving more voice messages. I've been without the use of my motorcycle for over a month. Now I'm forced to buy another battery elsewhere. I'm a senior citizen and a reasonable guy but BatteryJack really disappointed me. It's rare that I've had to take the time to write/post a complaint about a company but be aware! Stay away from BatteryJack, they're advertised warranty doesn't mean much and obviously their motorcycle batteries aren't very good. read more

I am from California and I have ordered many batteries from Battery Jack (Bigtimebattery.com). If you have computer battery backups (APC specifically in my case) then you know that the replacements are super expensive. Battery Jack smashes the UPC prices and the PowerStar batteries have a 3 year warranty ! UPC doesn't offer that kind of warrany. Also my last RBC7 batteries that I ordered lasted from 7/2011 to 11/2016. I just called up and spoke with the lovely Beth. She helped me and my batteries are on the way. Even with shipping I am still way under what new batteries would cost. They are even cheaper than Amazon. Whatever troll left the first review obviously was not a customer. I have purchased multiple batteries and I will absolutely purchase more. read more

I ordered a motorcycle battery with a 3 year warranty. A few weeks before the end of the warranty period this battery died. I contacted Battery Jack almost at the end of the warranty period on 11/07/18 because I had a problem to find the order. Amanda's answer: "You are out of warranty because you placed your order on 10/31/15" I told her that the warranty period should start when the battery was actually put in service, not when the order was placed. Her response: "I shipped it on 11/02/15 and you should have received it within 3-4 days" (totally unrealistic assumption, they are in Illinois, the battery was shipped to AZ). I received the battery on 11/10/15 and Amanda asked me to prove when I received it. When I told her that she never gave me the tracking number her comment was "we can't track the package after 3 years anyway". Short: Battery Jack / Bigtime Battery refuses to honor the promised warranty based upon their assumption that a First Class USPS package mailed from Illinois arrives in a village in Arizona within 3 days. read more

Terrible experience. I purchased a battery that was supposed to replace my HD motorcycle battery, The battery was the same size as my original but the battery terminals were recessed 1/4 inch and I could not connect the negative battery cable, When I called they said I could have seen that by looking at the picture of the battery. Okay, I guess that was partly my fault but give me a break, how many people would notice that from a picture. My point was they said it would fit my bike but it didn't so I asked for a refund. They agreed to give me a refund minus the return shipping charges. Still ok, I figure I learned a lesson but wasn't going to give them a bad review until they lied twice about my refund. A week after they received the battery back in their warehouse I called about my refund and was told it would be issued the next day. After several days I called again and was told the same thing. When I called the third time they finally told me the refund was submitted and sent me a copy of the receipt. When I told Shannon I was was not pleased with their service she was rude and hung up on me. Check out other reviews and complaints before you decide to buy from them. They may be cheaper than other companies but I guess you get what you pay for. Also check out the BBB, they have a F rating. read more
