If I could give this place a zero I would. I took my phone into the shop to get my cracked screen fixed. The tech Amanda replaced the screen . I now have the phone and the home button doesn't work. They recommended that I spend more money just to have them fix the home button issue. The button was working just fine before the tech repaired it. Now I'm stuck with another issue with my phone. You will be denied the opportunity to purchase a battery unless the sales associates feel that the purchase is a "correct" item. Be sure to bring the battery being replaced inside the store or you'll be wasting your time and will not be sold a battery. I was denied purchasing a battery for a factory motorcycle that has not been modified. The sales reps does not know basic physics of how batteries operate. Batteries plus bulbs corporate office and product support had no issue with the item being a correct match for the motorcycle. Tallahassee FL. Brought my iPhone 8 plus in for a broken screen. The screen was replaced quickly and cleanly. The staff was pleasant and professional. However my home button that worked when I brought the phone in is now not working. I am using the onscreen home button but I have lost my fingerprint password option. The fine people at Batteries Plus are very honest and put their customers first. I dropped off my iPhone 6 on the way to work this morning, to get the charger port repaired. When I came to pick it up they said they cleaned all the lint out of the charge port and it worked fine. They gave it back fully charged but didn't charge me a penny. Now that's customer service. I had a really good experience with these guys. I had bought a battery for my car about two months ago. I purchased a three year warranty. My battery died this past Sunday in the parking lot at Bannerman crossing. I walked to the store and explained what had happened. There was only one guy working and he couldn't leave the store till he closed. He told me if I waited till closing time he would help. At 6PM he locked up and went to help us. He tried jumping my car, when that didn't work, he brought a new battery to where my car was, changed it out and did his best to get me taken care of. He did all of this after his shift ended. Brought my iPhone in because I cracked my screen but luckily I had an extra iPhone that had a perfectly good screen that I just needed to take off and swap on to the iPhone that I was actually using at the time. So I brought both phones up there and asked them to switch the uncracked screen over to my other phone that had the cracked screen. Brian, the employee who made it very clear and even stated that his goal was to make sure my phone was working to 100% so he could put his number in it is the person I dealt with on the day I went in. Unfortunately. So he swapped the screens and told me he was going to give me a discount and only charged me $20.... so I thought. But when looking at my bank statements today I saw I had a charge on the 15th of the month and another charge on the 16th of the month. Well I was never there on the 16th. So I immediately call my bank and ask them about the charges and they tell me yes I was charged twice, $20 for one day and another $20 the next. They said I should try and resolve it with Batteries Plus before the bank, so I called Batteries Plus and it took 3 day to get in touch with the manager and whenever she did finally call me back she tried to tell me that I made that charge, even though I told her I wasn't in her store that day she told me that I "must be confused" and that Brian told her "i was distracted and on the phone with my mom while I was there and just probably don't remember being charged twice". HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE WITH MY MOM IF THEY WERE SWAPPING MY SCREENS? literally, how she is a manager is beyond my knowledge. Then told me "well honestly you should be happy because $40 is a bargain that's our price" yet because of this second unauthorized charge my account went into overdraft so I wouldn't say it was a bargain Tina. Long story short, she basically told me they aren't refunding that unauthorized charge so I'm now taking it another step. DO NOT GO HERE AND IF YOU DO, CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS. read more

Went to Batteries Plus Bulbs purchased a backup electronic key for my daughter's vehicle on August 4. We prepaid because I live out of town and wanted her to be able to pick up the key once it arrived.. We were told the key would in by Tuesday and they would call her. On Tuesday August 14, I called to see if the key had come in because no one has contacted us yet. No one, not even there purchasing manager seems to know anything about the key, or if it had even been orders. After waiting on the phone for a few minutes while the young man inquired about the key he came back to tell me they need to call me back. I tell him at this time that I will be returning to Tallahassee and if the key is not in by my return on August 17, I want a refund. The young man call me back later saying the key will be by the time of my visit or before and they will call my daughter. She gets the call on Thursday that the key is in, we arrive at the store Saturday, nobody knew where they key was, they eventually called coworker and located the key. We were told it would take about 10, so we left and came back 30 minutes later and the key still wasn't ready, we waited another 10 minutes. Once the key is ready, and the other young man is suppose to be going out to my daughter's car to program the key, a woman comes walking into the store and we are told he is going to take care of her and come right out. So after another 10 minutes I go back into the store and he is waiting on another customer. Then he proceeds to come and program the the key but says he can't do it because the cable doesn't work, at this point we have been waiting since 2:45 and it is now 4:00. I ask for a refund. The young man told me no, since it was a special order and wants to call the technician for help. The technician does not answer and after wasting and hour and forty five minutes and the two weeks of no key I get a refund. I do not recommend this business. read more

STOP, DO NOT TAKE YOUR WATCH TO BATTERIES PLUS BULBS. I took my Dive Watch (Swiss Movement) in to Batteries Plus Bulbs on Thomasville Road in Tallahassee Florida. They never called me to tell me to pick it up, so I just dropped by to pick it up. The young man behind the counter (Son of the owner) said they put a battery in it but it still is not working, Thinking that was just not right, I took it to the Rolex repair shop in Tallahassee, He said he had never seen such damage done to any watch just taking the battery out for replacement. They had damaged the gears, leaving parts out and not replacing the battery. The Rolex repair service said it was damage beyond repair. But I took it back to the Batteries Plus Bulb Store, and the owner wanted to send the watch to a repair shop of his choice, He said the Rolex Repair shop says that about all of the watches he has had go there? Anyway a few days later my watch is fixed.....2 days later it stopped working. The owner of Batteries Plus Bulbs sent it back to his repair shop of choice. A week later I had to go to that shop and pick it up. By the time I picked it up it had stoped working. I went back to Batteries Plus Bulbs, but the Owner would not confront me, so his son told me that they were done with trying to help me with the repairs on a watch that they damaged. He stated that I was just looking to get a new watch out of them. Not true I just wanted my watch back as it was before they butchered it.
