We needed batteries for my food scale before a trip, and decided to get them at the Brooksville Batteries Plus store. While there I asked if they replaced IPhone batteries because I had already tried the Geek Squad in Best Buy, who told me my phone was too old and they didn't service it. When I was told yes, and the battery was in stock, I could almost hear angels singing!! Plus - this is the best part - they could install it in 45 minutes while I waited!! I should run and get lottery tickets - that's how lucky I felt!! Now comes the best part - after telling him to go ahead with the battery replacement and a charging spot cleaning - my phone was ready in less than twenty minutes!! Phenomenal customer service!! Ten stars on a five star scale! Here's the story - I took my iPad Pro to the place across the street from BatteriesPlus for repair... Week One - I was told it would be a week's wait for the battery. Week Two - I got a call saying the parts were in. Dropped off my iPad and was told a 24 hour turnaround. Week Three - I called, hearing nothing. The place across the street now tells me all the parts were NOT in... Week Three plus a day - My iPad was returned with UNREPAIRED. I was told the battery was fine, and it must be a "motherboard problem." Oh yeah - when I picked up my iPad, it seems the place across the street gave me a few bonus white pixels in my screen when they reinstalled the battery improperly. THEN I WISED UP AND TOOK MY IPAD TO BATTERIES PLUS Week One - Had to wait for the battery to come in. Week One plus a day - Batteries Plus installed my new battery, FIXED the white pixel problem with my screen. It seems the place across the street kinked some of the battery wires during their attempt to fix the iPad, causing pressure on the back side of the screen. In summary - Batteries Plus fixed my iPad when they said they would. Batteries Plus kept me posted every step of the way. Batteries Plus fixed the white pixels in my screen due to the attempt at repair from the place across the street. Batteries Plus correctly diagnosed my iPad problem as a battery issue. Batteries Plus fixed it in 24 hours. They kept their promise. Best of all? Batteries Plus did all this for FIFTY BUCKS CHEAPER than the quote from the place across the street. read more

My cell phone would not do anything, I thought it was dead. I was so upset because it had the last photos of my deceased mother. The young man at the counter (Philip) took my phone and within a few seconds had it back on with everything working. He explained to me that it went into hibernation mode. Not only did he fix my phone he didn't charge anything!!! A lot of repair places would have kept my phone and in a few days I'd get it back with a costly bill and I wouldn't have known the real issue. Thank you!!!! read more

What a GREAT store! They know how to accommodate and have super customer skills. This is where I will always purchase batteries for my phone, car and anything else they carry; flash lights (sm & lg), water proof lights, bulbs for a variety of lighting needs, phone covers/cases and so much more! Good variety of impulse items you may not think of that will help improve your tech equipment, keeping it up to date and lasting longer. I am completely disgusted with my experience at this store. I ordered a new screen for my Galaxy S7 edge phone and was told it would be in within 5 days. A week goes by and I decide to call, the employee says he will check and call me right back, which is fine only they never called me back. So I call again and I am told that my part was somehow put on back order and wouldn't be in til the following week. Again, I go a week without a call so I call again and they tell me my part was once again put on back order. About 3 weeks later the part finally comes in and they do the screen repair and give me me phone back with a broken speaker. They refuse to fix it saying they did not break it and there is nothing they can do about it. Would not recommend to anyone! read more

Went in to have my battery in my truck tested at the Cortez store. One customer ahead of me chatting away while CSM worked on her watch's. After waiting 15 minutes for my turn, 5 other people walked in. When he asked how can I help you, I explained I spoke to him on the phone and he told me to come in for the test. I already knew my battery had to be bad and was prepared to have a new one put in for $110 & tax. He said " be right with you after I wait on these other people" he was going to wait on the other 5 first. Picture this, if I decided to wait, 5 more people come in and I'm expected to let 5 more people ahead of me. I also am a CSR at UHaul. The person in front remains the person in front. I would have asked the other customers to step outside while waiting on the first customer dispatching a truck or showing a storage room. No one likes to have someone step ahead of them in line. Most customers understand we can't leave the store with customers in the store. Very bad business policy losing a $110 sale. Upset, very much so, my time is just as important as everyone else's. Florida West Coast Battery in Port Richey will be getting my business. read more
