Terrible experience. Will break your phone and then yell at you for it. The tech, Hannah, punctured my phone battery during a routine replacement and I was told it would explode if she kept working on it. No apology, just told us to come back the next day when a different, more experienced tech would be in. I needed my phone back ASAP as it's a work phone and essential to my role as a leader on our hospital's COVID response team. This was conveyed to Hannah and she finally said she could fix it after speaking to another tech. Instead of fixing it, Hannah proceeded to help every other customer that came into the store while we sat waiting. Over an hour after bringing my phone in we asked if she was going to finish working on it. She snapped on us and made a scene in front of customers. Hannah made comments saying she didn't need attitude from us and at one point loudly said "so am I allowed to ring this other person up before I finish your phone?!" Another customer actually came over to us and said we shouldn't do business there since they break things and overcharge. When my phone was finally returned, Hannah smacked it down on the counter and shoved paperwork at me to sign. I booted the phone up to check that everything worked and she got very antagonistic and told us we had to leave the store. I later realized it's because she had broken my home button and the vibrate function on my phone. Not only did we wait an hour and a half for something that she said would take 20 minutes, but she broke my phone and gave us an unbelievable amount of attitude and rudeness. I made an appointment and came in a couple minutes early to have a battery replaced on my phone. There were no customers in the store and no cars in the parking lot. The employees didn't look busy and were chatting with each other. They asked me to drop off the phone and come back at least a half hour later to pick it up. --- Ummmm, why? If you are standing around talking to each other and you have no customers, surely you can start to look at my phone. -- So instead they lost a customer and I'll go somewhere else. The only reason why I gave them a star is because a co-worker had a good experience getting her battery replaced there in the past. read more

Just went there with my dads ancient iPhone and they were able to switch out his battery in less than 30 mins. Jerry was the gentleman that helped us. It was easier than waiting for our scheduled appointment at Apple. Also Jerry is a great salesman and from now on we are only getting our AAA's in AA batteries there. Deceptive practices - I called to check stock and price on some batteries. When I got there I was given a price quadruple of what I was told on the phone. When asked about was then asked which store did I call. Told them this one. They said no. I prefer buying local but in the future will stick to purchasing batteries on Amazon. read more

I went there a week or so ago and a very nice middle-aged gentleman helped me and ordered a battery for me. He's why I'm giving the 2nd star. I went back today to pick it up. There was a younger greasy-haired man helping someone outside. I went inside. There was no staff. I waited a few minutes, then I called out, "Hello?" the way you do. No response. Several minutes later, I did it again. No response. Then the young man came in. I said, "You're working alone?" He said there was someone else there. I said, "Oh, I called 'hello' a couple times and no one answered." He said, snottily and rudely, "Well don't do that!" During my transaction, a guy came out from the back and I swear he looked like the classic old hermit - straight out of central casting with wild unkempt hair and disheveled appearance. I will NEVER do business with Batteries Plus again. These creeps broke the case on my garage door opener control when they put in a new battery. They refused to replace the opener and basically told me to go screw myself. I will NEVER go to BP anywhere ever again. Run away from these creeps. For rare batteries, go to Radio Shack instead. I bought a battery less than a year ago from Battery Plus store in Littleton Co. the battery would not turn over the motor of my ATV that is stored in a heated garage with a battery tender attached to the battery. I took the battery back to the store in Littleton where it was purchased a tall man with long gray hair in a ponytail checked the voltage he said it shows 12.3 he said the battery was just fine. I told him the battery would not turn the motor over he said that the ATV has a electrical issues he would not even listen to what I was saying what a RUDE person he did not even do a load test, he said the battery was good and handed back to me and preceded to help a waiting customer totally ignore me. I then took the battery to the Battery Plus store in Centennial Co the man checked the volts is showed 12.3 and he preformed a load test he said the battery was no good he handed me a new battery and said there is no charge the battery is still under warranty. No one should ever go through the way I was treated at the Littleton Co. Battery Plus store. The Battery Plus store in Centennial Co will have my business from now on. Dave S. read more

They sold me an after market battery that ended up heating up and frying the screen on my phone. It was an old phone, but I would not buy another knock off or trust any recommendation to use one. They usually have 5 people working for the lunch rush and there are 2 registers, so plan on waiting to check out. read more

Disappointed. I needed an APC brand UPS battery replacement. batteriesplus.com indicated the store carries a replacement. The store offers individual batteries for $50 each plus a $20 service fee to "custom configure" the batteries. I went to Microcenter instead and bought an APC brand replacement for $60. read more

We had a very positive experience yesterday at this store. They were pretty busy but we were able to drop our phone off and they replaced the battery in the time frame they promised. My mom went here yesterday and was so happy with their service! She was helped by Zack who was so nice and helpful to her. He told her it would only take 15 minutes to change her battery and when someone told her she needed a new screen he looked at her phone and told her she didn't. Her phone is working great now and I don't have to buy her a new one and teach her how to use it. I bought a battery here a couple years ago and never took care of it. When I went to get a new one I went to AutoZone. AutoZone took forever to look through their batteries and gave me a battery and said it was 'close enough', it wasn't. I came to Batteries Plus and they were able to look up the exact battery I needed in less than a minute. They set me up and sent me on my way in 5mins. Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Montrell is a real pro and very helpful. I brought my wife's non-responsive Samsung phone to the store. Montrell quickly diagnosed the cause as battery failure and replaced the battery at no cost to me because it was still under warranty from the last time I replaced it at a different Batteries Plus location. It never even occurred to me that the battery was under warranty and Montrell could have easily sold me a new one, but he looked me up in their system and let me know I could get it replaced at no cost. Went in to buy a battery for my bicycle computer. They didn't have them on the floor. Had to wait until someone finally came out from the back and they had them stored in back. Really? I stopped by to see if my Jeep key fob needed a new battery. Montrell, the store manager, was so helpful. He checked my battery and found it to be fully charged. Adjusted the actual fob which was not securing the battery when it was pressed to use keyless entry. Problem solved! Excellent customer service. read more

This is probably the dumbest set of employees. They did not call back when they said they would. I returned to the store 4 times for the same warranty issue.They misplaces the correct paperwork to complete the transaction. This is one company who still knows what customer service is! I cannot say enough great things about all the employees I encountered at this store. Everyone is very professional and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my screen after they fixed it. The district manager personally called me and asked me if I could bring my phone back and he would make sure it was fixed right. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Had the battery replaced in my iPhone 5s. Made an appt online to get the $10 off. It was promised in 30 minutes. I came back in 45 to a line of 3-4 people, not moving, so ran another errand for about 15 min. Line was gone, but I was then told that since they got so busy my phone wasn't ready - "they were working on it, ready in 15". I said OK I'd be back, went home to drop off groceries, gave them extra time and went back at least 30 min later and was handed my phone. I turned it on, and watched the battery % start at 35%, drop to 32%, to 30% and so on. Were they trying to screw me? When I questioned this, the guy checked with the guys in the back and came out to say "Oh, it hadn't been replaced yet". WTF, I was told it was being worked on during the last visit. Not much apology offered, but should be ready in another 30 min. I should have walked out with it then. Since they couldn't call me (they've got my phone) I asked them to email me when it was ready. No email. I finally called back and was told it had been ready. Upon finally getting it back, they forgot about the $10 off, then applied only $5 with the coupon code. You have to pay really close attention, they obviously will take advantage. So count it up, 5 visits and almost 4 hours. Save yourself the time and aggravation! read more

These guys really helped me out. It was the night before thanksgiving and my car battery died. I went to 2 auto stores before going here and none of them would help me install the battery. This was very inconvenient because My car would not start if I turned it off. I finally went here and they had me in and out with a new battery in about 15min. They even installed it for me outside in the dark with cold weather. They battery was cheaper with them as well and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a fine experience at Batteries Plus. My computer had been powering down and I thought it was because of a dying battery. Jerry, who had once fixed my I-phone at the Aurora location was working on a snowy day at the Littleton Batteries Plus. Jerry tested my power cord and checked my computer's settings. He adjusted the settings which were not set properly for the typical way in which in use my computer. He also showed me what to do at home to check my battery strength. I don't know what they are paying an employee like Jerry, but I doubt it's enough. I will be going back to Batteries Plus for all my battery needs. read more

My phone screen was starting to go out and fortunately I remembered seeing the sign about replacing screens from a previous visit. The manager was very informative and knowledgeable and gave me the information needed to decide to replace the screen. He had it replaced when promised (within an hour) and it works great now! I will definitely be back (I have a watch battery that needs to be replaced.) Do plan on waiting a little bit if you go during a rush as they focus on each individual customer with a high level of customer service which can take some time. read more

Went there yesterday about 5:15pm for a new car battery and installation for my Toyota Rav 4, picked out a battery, and the guy took it outside and came back in and said he could not install because he needed special tools, so I Ieft, but came back and bought the battery, drove 20 miles to my son's house, where he installed the batter using a screwdriver and a coin...lol...Batteries Plus has lost my business. read more

I had an iPhone screen repaired and they put a screen protector on it. Within a couple of days the screen protector started to come off in one of the corners. Took it back to the store and they said there was nothing they could do. I had to go through a third-party website for the warrantee. Nothing wrong with the screen protector. It was poorly installed. When I got mad and told them I would never return as a customer one of them offered to give me a new screen protector and said he wanted to keep me as a customer. I said "too late". I don't want to do business with a company who's policy is to NOT stand behind their service. read more

I went to Batteries Plus to have a broken iPhone screen repaired. Roman was the employee who preformed it and once I returned to pick up my phone he said that the screen was a bit defective. He said I could have it replaced if needed once they got more screens in. I visited 5 different times over the course of a month and was met with responses such as "We will order more by Wednesday", "There are some at our other stores" and "We ordered some but they were defective". While I kept visiting to see if they had more screens in stock my phone continued to deteriorate and eventually become non-responsive to touch. As a last resort I called and talked to a manager who promised to reserve a new screen and provide a full refund. My phone still isn't back to 100% but it's not worth going back to fix. On February 28, 2016, I took my Victorinox Master Dive watch (orange, link below) that I purchased from Amazon on 7/30/14, into Batteries Plus Bulbs to have the battery replaced. Upon entering the store with my spouse, an associated named Michael greeted my wife and I, and asked how he can help. I informed him that my watch battery needed replaced, and also indicated that this particular model ticks every 5 seconds when the watch battery is running low. Michael immediately proceeded to take the watch in the back area, where neither my wife nor I could observe what was happening. Upon re-entry to the main area, Michael said he replaced the battery, but the watch was not working, i.e. there was no movement at all on the watch I asked if there were anything that he had done that he shouldn't have, and he indicated there was nothing that he had done. I asked Michael if there was anyone in the store that could take a closer look at the watch to figure out what was wrong, but he said no, and that he would have to send it to the store's jeweler (later I learned the store's jeweler is Mark from the Sears located in SW plaza mall). I said that would be fine, if he can let know the status asap. On thursday March 3, 2016, I received a call from Ben, apparently a manager at Batteries plus bulbs, who said that the associate Michael no longer worked in the store(how convenient), and could not verify that the watch was actually working when I brought the watch into the store (even though I have a witness that can confirm the watch was ticking every 5 seconds). Ben proceeded to ask me a couple questions: 'have I ever done business with batteries /bulbs/ do I have a prior relationship with the store, and even asked if I live in the area??? The implication that i brought in a watch that did not work, and was trying to get them to fix it for free. Ben also indicated that the store should not have agreed to replace the watch on such a expensive watch(even though this is not really a high end watch, but rather mid-grade), and they usually will refuse to replace the battery. I respond that I had never been in the store, but merely dropped in to have the battery replaced after visited a nearby Sprouts farmers market. Ben also proceeded to say that his jeweler (again named Mark at Sears/SW plaza mall) was now in possession of the watch, and could replace the movement 'at his cost' of $55, and that I should call Mark/Sears to work out the details. I responded that I did not leave the watch with Mark /Sears, and felt that i should continue working with batteries and bulbs, since that's where i have a copy of the work order from. Nevertheless, I called Mark and he indicated that he could not repair the watch at Batteries/bulbs cost(since I was part the general public and did not have a working agreement with him like Batteries and bulbs), and that the movement is not actually at the $55 cost, but 'is a much more expensive' and would call me back when he has the movement in, and estimated cost to repair it. This has been a horrible back/forth journey, and the responses I did receive were nonchalant and apathetic to my situation. Today is April 8, and to date I have not heard any more about my watch, nor do I really know where the watch is at this point. I purchased an expensive (~$200) deep cycle battery last year for my trailer. I used it with great success all this past summer, and just pulled it out of service because of winter's approach. I went to the Batteries Plus store Batteries Plus Bulbs #822 8601 Cross Road Littleton, CO 80123 and asked for some help in understanding how to make sure the battery cell water level was OK. Three young men in the store. One said that he didn't think the battery level could be checked; one brought a multi-meter and checked the battery voltage - said it was not fully charged (i knew that) and the third said to look under the plastic tab on top of the battery, take the battery caps off and look into the little hole to see if there was water in the battery. I asked if they had a filler thta would automatically put in the right amount of water ...... they said "Go to and auto parts store." I guess that's the kind of no service one gets from young people who aren't taught to know and service their products, but only to sell. Last encounter I'll have with Batteries Plus at any of their stores or online. read more

I went into Batteries Plus yesterday to get my iPhone screen repaired and upon coming back they unfortunately didn't have my phone fixed and it wouldn't seem to come back on for some reason so Katie I think her name was calmly told me she would keep trying and call her managers to try and figure out the answer to the problem, long story short after her trying for a little bit there was no success. She had to put me on the phone with a district manager who was kind enough to apologize and let me know he would personally be in tomorrow at opening to figure out the problem. He got me my phone fixed and working like new in a short period of time and didn't even charge me a penny since they couldn't fix it the night before! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had an issue with my son's phone not charging consistently. Set an appointment online, very easy, and went in. Both employees were very helpful. When i got the call the phone was ready for pickup, I was told that they didn't need to do a full replacement on the charging port, they were able to clean it and reset the pins. I have never been treated with such kindness. I came in because I thought my RV house batteries were dead. Nothing in the "house" worked. The manager checked the batteries and found they were perfectly fine. He even helped find what was actually wrong. Instead of spending over $300 for batteries and an hour's labor charge at a dealership, Which certainly would have been above $100 I bought a high quality Battery tender to protect my batteries from running down for much less than $100. It has been years...or maybe decades since a store manager was willing to offer what I actually needed that cost him a sale.
