NEVER AGAIN... Brought in a lithium motorcycle battery with another 18 months left on the warranty. Manager says no warranty because the battery is discharged and can't be woken up. No mention of this on the written warranty on the battery, which I read to him while I was in the store. No surprise that this location has the worst reviews of all the Batteries Plus stores in Colorado Springs. Called the Batteries Plus at the address below to purchase six 8v golf cart batteries. We were told they had 25 in stock and was quoted just under $940.00 with taxes and core return. We were told that a 'quote ticket' was prepared, with his name and phone #, so any sales person could assist with the purchase. The next day we called to inform them that we would be there the following day to finalize the purchase and was again informed that they still had his 'quote ticket' on the board. However, when we arrived the following day with the core returns they informed us all 25 8v batteries had been sold. We were frustrated with them as we had to drive from another town burning $4.45/gal gas to discover all was for nothing. A phone call would've been great letting us know the batteries have been sold so we didn't have to make the trip down. As a business owner, we do not fault them for selling the 25 8v batteries as that is their business. It's the lack of customer service in failing to call and letting us know the batteries were no longer available saving time and money. Talked with Nick, the store manager/supervisor, and he was totally unapologetic for their lack of customer service. I went in two days ago and got batteries for two garage door openers. When I got back to the garage, they didn't work. I took them back today and the "trusted advisor" (That's what his name tag said) took them apart. First opener had a battery that tested good but had been put back together wrong. The other had a bad battery in it. He refused to replace it because they "don't warranty that type of battery." TWO DAYS OLD. Never worked. I went into Batteries Plus at 2713 Janitell Rd Suite#160 in Colorado Springs to get the battery replaced in two of my watches- should be quick right? WRONG. I was helped right away. It just took FOREVER to have the work done. And if that wasn't bad enough my expensive watch got all scratched up. After I paid I mentioned the scratches to the lady who helped me and she just said "sorry". I have been into this location several times before and all had good service. So, on 8/8/2020, I took an iPhone and my iPad in to the location on Janitell Road, in Colorado Springs, CO to have a new battery installed. First off, I had scheduled appointments online to have the batteries replaced. That's a big joke! I arrived at the appointed time, and learned that there was no one there at that time, who could do the replacements. That I would need to return about an hour or so later, before someone would be there. The iPhone was done in about 15 minutes, with no problem at all. The iPad was dropped off around 12;30 PM that Saturday, and waited for them to call me to tell me that it was done. Around 6:00 PM, I called to see if it was finished. The Tech said the battery was installed, but there was an issue. Apparently, he messed up the digitizer, and there is now a black line at the top of the screen, and you can only see 80-85% of the screen now. He said that the would have to order a new one, and that it should be ready by Tuesday, 8/11/2020. On Tuesday around noon, I called, to see if it was ready. The tech said he was just finishing up. I got it back, and noticed that the home button wasn't working. Took it back to the store, and they noticed there were dead spots on the screen, you couldn't slide the power off icon on the screen. They had to order another digitizer. Got it back on home on Thursday and noticed the digitizer was not adhering to the iPad. Took it back again to the store again. We picked it up again, and after the home button was pushed a couple of times, it quit working. Back to the store we went. They "fixed it", I took it home and Saturday 8/15/2020 morning the digitizer is loose AGAIN! Made five additional trips to the store on Saturday due to either the home button not working, or the digitizer being loose. And here it is Sunday, and we are right back where we were Saturday morning! Digitizer adhesive is not sticking AGAIN!!!!! If I could give them no stars I would. Less than a week after my wife had her iPhone glass replaced for $109, it cracked near the top of the phone (very clean crack, very small). When I went in for a replacement, they told me "It was perfect when she signed for it, she must have broken it." Well even if that were true (it isn't) then at best the glass they use is completely inferior or this piece was defective. The manager was a know-it-all who let me know that he has "been doing this long enough to know a misused phone when he sees one." I wish I could post a picture... anybody with an iPhone knows how they break and this isn't it. read more

I went to batteries plus on janitel rd today to buy a new battery for my Samsung galaxy. I walked from my home there may be a mile or so, I was a little sweaty when I arrived the gentleman behind the counter was rude to me when he sold me the battery and again when I asked him for help installing his product. I feel if I hadn't been sweaty from my walk I would have been treated different. He was nice as pie to the next two customers behind me. What gives batteries plus???? read more

Brought my iPhone 7 plus here for a screen replacement. After picking up and getting home my ear piece wasn't working. Brought it back and was told 20 minutes to fix. Came back and was told it would be 1-2 hours later. 3 hours later it was fixed. Then I noticed I couldn't see the screen with my sunglasses on. I have always owned iPhones and have never had this issue. I was told their screens don't have the same resolution as Apple and there is nothing they can do. How about this Batteries Plus? Don't sell customers a replacement screen if its going to under perform or at least be upfront about it. I don't even write reviews but this was a waste of time and money. read more

5/7/2016 - Wow...where do I start! I must say that I am very disappointed with the service that my husband and I received today at Batteries Plus on E. Woodmen Road in Colorado Springs, CO. If I could give them no star for customer service, I would. Unfortunately, we were referred to check them out for some watch batteries. We went in the store and the employee (Nate) asked us if we wanted a lifetime battery for $16.99 or a one-time battery with no warranty for $8.99. I had two watches so I chose the 8.99 battery. While Nate was in the back replacing my watch batteries, I asked the other employee to tell Nate that I want to keep my old batteries. He looked at me and said, "You want to keep the old batteries"? I said "yes" and he made a negative facial expression and said, "Whatever". I had a rationale for my request. Well, my husband was going to get some batteries for FIVE watches and he asked this same guy what size batteries did his watches take, and he told my husband that he had to open them up and see, but he would still charge him labor which was around $5.00 each. Really...$5.00 to tell my husband the size of a battery!! At that time, I asked Nate what brand and size battery is he putting in my watches and he came out to show me. Well, the battery only cost $3.99 each, so $5.00 labor charge???? I told my husband that he only needs to get the battery charge for 8.99 because their labor charge is more than the batteries and he had FIVE watches. Nate was all up in "my conversation" with my husband, and he got offended at my comment. He yelled from the back and said, "If you don't like our labor charges, then you can go somewhere else". My conversation with my husband did not warrant ANY input from Nate!! I was simply speaking the truth! At that point, I had taken enough of their rude customer service, so I said, "I think I will, you can give them back to me". Lastly, to show them there was no hard feelings, I gladly purchased two $3.99 batteries from their store because Nate showed me the brand and size that he was putting in my watches earlier, and I took my happy butt next door to Walmart and the kind gentleman put their batteries in my watches for free and with a smile!! : ) As an added bonus, he replaced all five of my husband's watch batteries, labor free. TIP: Go to Walmart Jewelry counter for friendly service and they won't try to rip you off!!! read more
