The owners George and his family are the nicest people, everybody had a lot of respect for them so even when the hooligans were fighting on the precinct, nobody ever caused George any trouble. When I was little everybody used to tell me George was my dad and I used to get really upset, not because I didn't like him or anything but I really love my real dad! I would definitely recommend this chippy to anybody and as soon as my boyfriend can drive we'll definitely start going there again.

Well unfortunately we just made the mistake of going back to try their fish and chips again after we spotted several customers inside (a case of it looks busy, maybe it's ok now?). How wrong could we be. My meal was inedible. The chips I did eat tasted bad, so I moved onto the fish and I have never tasted fish like it in my life, it was appalling.
