I had an appointment with Dr. Ivanovski yesterday and I was not satisfied with the level of care I…read morereceived. I was requested to return for a follow up after my first appointment a few weeks ago, which I didn't really understand the purpose of, but if the doctor wanted to see me I assumed it would be for a reason. In my first appointment the doctor stared at my chest for most of it, which made me uncomfortable, but I've been trying to get into a pain specialist for several years, so I figured I'd give him another chance. When I got there I did all the paperwork, then waited for half an hour before I was seen. When I got to his office, he said that there wasn't any reason for us to be meeting, since the MRI that he ordered hadn't yet been approved by insurance. Within 5 minutes, he sent me on my way, saying that he didn't see a purpose in us meeting again. Since I was not provided any medical care, I requested the front desk to return my copay. They said that since I had spoken to the doctor, it counted as a visit and they wouldn't give me my money back. I'm very unsatisfied with my experience, and I won't be returning.

LITTLE ROCK, AR: My husband has been to several clinics over the years to deal with fibromyalgia,…read moreCOPD, asthma, hypertension, and recurring bladder infections. He takes 14 medications and inhalers daily only one of which is a pain med, Tramadol. We scheduled him for his first visit to PTCOA in Little Rock, AR to find out what is the root cause of the pain he feels. The staff up front was welcoming and kind. The individual who checked him in was pleasant to deal with. The problem came when he was seen by one of the physicians. She introduced herself and asked my husband why he was there. She listened to him for about 10 minutes, interrupted him, and told him what she thought. She did not bother to look at his med list. He did not get a chance to tell her of the 5 hospitalizations in the last 6 years, the bladder infections and stent placement, nor the 2 comas he has been in just since 2018. This physician saw him as just another drug addict looking for a fix. I was disgusted. She did not offer a single x-ray, MRI, or CT scan. Not a single test to see what is happening. I have been a pharmacist for 37 years. I know all about satisfying DEA requirements and prescribing limitations placed on healthcare professionals. The haughty behavior from this doctor's preconceived ideas were unbelievable. She seriously needs a refresher course on bedside manner and how to listen. I have told him to go to UAMS and never return to PTCOA. We thought they would try to find the cause of the pain. It turns out we were just another number.

I think this practice does well in the mental health profession. Myself, working in the mental…read morehealth field over 4 years, it's amazing how they applied their profession to me. My first and very first therapist was Rachel. In the beginning I understood you had to get to know your therapist but she was really relatable however accountable. In order for me to grow, she had to take necessary steps during my sessions such as keeping me accountable and working on my personal development when I wasn't in session. She's amazing! Now I'm seeing Angie is totally the opposite of her however she is more fun. At first I was worried if I was going to receive the right treatment from her as Rachel did. Rachel did a great job connecting me with Angie. Till now Angie has literally taken care of me and helped me through my trauma. Thank CFT for being so kind and professional.

The medical staff - mainly Dr. Katherine Hurst - was lovely. I really enjoyed my appointment with…read moreher and felt she really wanted to help me in my endeavor to get healthy. However, the administrative staff is the worst I have ever seen. Specifically, the woman in billing was incredibly rude, inconsiderate, and unhelpful. The Chenal Family Practice makes a point of running excessive tests on new patients. They market these tests as them "going the extra mile," but in reality, it is a complete money grab. They do not make you aware or even hint to clients that the excessive testing may not be covered by the client's insurance - despite the fact the client gives their insurance information when making the appointment - and for the one out of ten that do know their insurance, the practice doesn't tell you what tests are being run beforehand so you could look it up under your insurance. In short, there was no sense of obligation to the client. I understand they are running a business, but they are cheating people out of money. I left the office owing upwards of $500 when I went in to the office for the standard wellness exam.
