Turns out that the cabinet has no back. I don't mean the top shelf that has the three wooden slats--I mean the cabinet behind the doors. What cabinet doesn't have a back?! That's what a cabinet is. As assembled, the piece is not a cabinet; it is a set of shelves with doors in front of the lower two. I'm still trying to figure out a way to keep the dust out. The photos on the site carefully do not show this--I never would have bought it if this were shown. Shame on you, Manchester Wood. I thought I'd found a company I could trust. Instead, false advertising creeps in.

After a month of not hearing anything, I called and the owner answered! He said he would have his son call me. Never received a call from the son or the owner. I proceeded to call at least 10 times, left a few messages and stopped by the shop multiple times and nothing! After close to three months I called again and the son answered! He said the window was ready to pick up. My husband went in to pick it up and the son acted like business as usual with no acknowledgment or apology. Wow!

Shower doors they have to order & those take a while to come in but they are always quick to install. When we gave Tom the go-ahead he and his team set right to work to order the materials and schedule us so the construction would be done when we hoped. If there were any problems we never knew, and every day they left the site organized and clean. We were taken on a tour of their lot to consider various trees and shrubs, and Tom explained all the characteristics of each. If there was something he preferred for whatever reason, he listened to our input and never pushed for us to use something we may not like. His customer service is outstanding. At the end of it all, we were only a little over budget but for good reason; we expanded and embellished more than we expected to! His prices are very fair. Coming originally from the UK, we found the US approach to marketing and pricing very different. We eventually decided the stove we were looking at was not the one for us, and also it made sense to contact a dealer nearer to our home in Woodstock.
