    Bath/shower combo

The consult with Christy was great. She was on time and spent a lot of time explaining everything and helping us figure out what we wanted for our budget with no pressure! Tan was our installer and he was awesome! Very professional and the tub/shower is beautiful! He left the area clean and was helpful explaining the after care for the tub/shower.

Original weird shaped shower with such a small opening
    Michelle W.

Bath-fitter went above and beyond for my shower. Tim came in on Day one and realized that the job may entail more than anticipated bc of the weird shape, etc and when the demo was done it was clear that basically my whole shower would need to be rebuilt because it had all be post Katrina construction and basically do what you can with what you have got. They built out my wall to be a normal sized shower that I no longer worry about getting water into my floor. Tim and Matt worked tirelessly for the two day job that bled into a third day bc of again basically redoing the whole shower. They were here both days from 9 until after 5, truly trying to make the 2 day prediction happen. They came back the morning of the 3rd day and Tan wrapped up the final caulking by noon. Never once did Tim or Matt complain, in fact when I would make a comment about basically rebuilding my shower they would just shrug and say it's getting done. I am so incredibly pleased with the job and feel like I have an actual shower that meets my needs. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone thinking about a bathroom remodel. I am secure in knowing that what is behind that frame is solid and functional. Additionally the material is super easy to clean and maintain with a lifetime warranty. I am so thankful to them for all their hard work and effort and was impressed by their humility as well. On a side note the drywall not being finished/painting was my choice to save a bit of money, otherwise it would have been completely finished. I wouldn't want my choice to reflect poorly on them - again they so went above and beyond on this job that I imagine anyone else would have added to the price or said we can't do it. And 2 1/2 days of slight inconvenience (bc we just had the water off for a total of 4 hours through the project at most) was well worth it when anyone else would have been a week or more. Again I cannot say enough great things about Tim and Matt and the whole experience.

Never use this company!…read more I contracted this company to install countertops in my home. They sent a crew that spoke no English. They did a terrible job. Huge gaps, terrible seams, crooked sinks. I complained. The company refused to cut new stone. They sent the same crew out again, with no translator. They attempted to make adjustments to the countertop in place. This created dust that filled my entire home. It did not fix the problems. They came back 3 times to make adjustments. Beyond the language barrier, the crew was very unprofessional. They took tools out of my garage and used them to complete work. Nothing was stolen but seriously you don't have your own drill? The company was terrible to deal with. We would call and no one would answer. We would go to the store and it would be closed during their posted business hours. We left messages and sent emails, and it would take days to get a response. The only thing they wanted to do was send out the crew who couldn't understand my complaints for adjustments. They acted like the work in the photos below was quality and that my wife and I had unreasonable expectations.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about CC. From the moment I spoke with Chi, I knew we would be in good hands. She had Ms Linda measured our kitchen right next day, and we confirmed our 3d design in 4 days before ordering. They installed our entire kitchen in one week, and just 2 days project. Chi and her team's knowledge around everything needed to complete the work is phenomenal. The work took just 2 days. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and over-delivered on what we asked them to do. If you are considering redoing your kitchen with CC, you should. Just make sure that you call Chi.

She had to call the business in Texas to check on it . She returned my call to tell me that it was still sitting on their que what ever that was and it would take several days to be processed and sent out . I informed her at this time I had not had running water in my kitchen for 2 weeks and her Comment was Oh My Goodness! Not I am sorry for not staying on top of this . Not for keeping one of those little Post a notes as a reminder that a faucet has been ordered and I need to monitor this . Sorry, I have not stayed in touch with you to keep you in formed . Sorry that I did not return your call . My plumber happens to be Lenny's Plumbing on Transcontinental and when I call them they return my call in a reasonable amount of time . Their work is excellent and reasonable. I will never ever use Southland again because of that one sales person. She made me feel so insignificant and unimportant. Dang! I've found the Elvis of bathtubs! It's a ruby cast iron claw foot and I want to drown myself…read morein it... or at least take a phenomenal bath in it. I had been searching for kitchen & bath showrooms (see previous review for another similar, not-so-similar kitchen & bath place, BC's) and I had lost all hope for the days of my youth when my parents would drag us to these places and we'd go running around jumping in bathtubs. Seems like I was going to have to just pick one out from a catalogue without seeing anything in real life. Sidenote: I don't jest when I say that a bathroom is possibly the most important room in the house. I've been obsessed since I could walk. I currently have a bathroom straight out of my nightmares (seriously, these night terrors have to stop). And now I'm in the process of putting together my first one and it's a *daunting* process. The Plumbing Warehouse makes this daunting process just a bit easier. They have red faucets! They have an array of tubs! They can help you put together the bathroom of your dreams! The showroom is in a bit of an upheaval and the sales lady, Emily apologized for this (though seriously, it wasn't that bad). She then proceeded to help us in a way that I most appreciate in a sales person. That is, she asked questions, was helpful, and was not overbearing. And she seemed to know just what I wanted (um, am I that obvious?) Keep in mind that if you want custom stuff, you can get it (tons of catalogues) but they do have some basics with a day or two turnaround. Naturally, whatever I'm interested in will take two weeks, but hey, when you have a historical house with all the permit nonsense you have to deal with, I think I'm looking at not getting this bathroom started for about two months. But that's besides the point. I'll be using this place for my tub (seriously, they have it all: acrylic, cast iron, copper and hundreds of choices they'll show you in a catalogue, including my Elvis tub) and sink (here's looking at you, violet resin vessel!)

I was surprised to walk in here and find so much other stuff besides stone. They had a decent selection of tile, one of which we already purchased from a different vendor. They had a small collection of sinks and faucets. But I would say, there main product is the stone. We arrived on a Saturday. Thankfully, they are open until 1pm. Saturdays are probably not their most organized day. We had set this up during the week and had been working with a very friendly and helpful sales person, who made sure everything would be in order for our arrival. It kind of was. The front desk woman was kind of the weak link. Even when we told her exactly who we spoke with and what we were looking for, she kept pushing the generic spiel on us. We figured she was clueless, so we pushed on onward to the slabs and found someone else. I think her name was Annaliza. That's what Shari V wrote down anyway. She was great. She directed us towards the slabs which had been set out for us. She was not pushy and did not hover. She was clearly busy but was around an appropriate amount. We deliberated on a few slabs and ultimately settled on a piece we loved. In fact, we really like two slabs, so it was a toss up. Choosing between two nice slabs was a good problem to have. Overall, I found the staff here very friendly and once we found the right person to talk to, things went pretty smoothly. Triton had a solid selection. The warehouse is not too hot. They had some good fans going. Their rows are nicely marked, so it was not too hard to find the right piece of rock. I would repeat Triton, but hopefully, I won't have to.
