Since I moved to Tucson, I don't have the opportunity to shop at the Garden Center or buy my firewood from them anymore, but I still enjoy the furniture I have from Little Brook Logging and Garden Center. Simply put, their handcrafted furniture is of such high quality, and the designs are so timeless I fully expect to hand down this furniture to my children (of which I currently have none). Here is a listing of furniture I got from Little Brook Logging and Garden Center: 1. Two Adirondack Chairs--These chairs are hands down the most comfortable patio furniture I've ever plopped down on. The colors are fun (I got a blue one and a green one), and the design (with shorter armrests that you can use to pull yourself out of the chair) is a masterpiece. The chairs are also rugged and survived being loaded in a shipping container and transported from Boston to Tucson. We often eat meals outside in our Adirondack chairs because they are so comfortable. I cannot recommend the chair more. 2. Picnic Table--The picnic table I got was the heaviest, most durable picnic table I've ever seen in my life. It easily seats six people and is made of wood so thick and durable, I bet two 300 lb men could dance on top of it and it would barely bend. In short, this is a picnic table built to last. It currently occupies a position of honor on our back patio, and our guests always rant and rave about how awesome it is. 3. Two Dressers--We got two matching dressers for our bedroom, which were expertly crafted, with incredible attention to detail. I'm not a wood worker myself, but I can recognize quality when I see it, and the dove-tailed construction and use of cedar planks for the bottom of the draws (to keep out moths) is brilliant. Again, our house guests usually exclaim, "Wow! Where did you get those?!" and we have to disappoint them because Little Brook Logging and Garden Center is in Saugus, MA, not Tucson, AZ. 4. Bench--We got a short bench, which I think is referred to by the experts at Little Brook as a "Five Board Bench," and it is just as sturdy as the picnic table, while also being expertly finished to maintain and display the classic wood grain. It's simple, and it's great. As a final note, the level of expertise and customer service is top notch. Richard Maltais is a wood connoisseur, and can speak at length about the different types and uses and find the perfect wood product to meet your needs. I only wish they would open up a branch in Tucson!
