The event cost $25 and it was from 6pm-8pm At the event the host supplied some snacks and drinks for us. There was music playing and she supplied all of the items we needed to make our own waist beads. She had a variety of bead colors for us to choose from. We were socially distanced while making our waist beads. The host played a game with the customers while we were making our waist beads to pass the time. I arrived a little late to the event but it didn't stop me from making my beads I was still welcomed and there was no time limit to completed your beads. While we socialized and played games and made our waisted beads the time flew by. It was a nice event to get around people and do something fun especially after a long day of work and it be something relaxing and entertaining. After I made my beads the host helped me tie them and explained how to put it on and off. This event was really nice and I will be coming back again to make another one to get a variety of waist beads for my outfits.

During the class you'll be able to pick your vessel and choose up to 3 scents for the candle. Choosing the scents was definitely the most tedious/time consuming part especially when trying to mix scents. After mixing the hot wax with the selected scent and pouring into the vessel, it needs to sit ~ 2 hours. Perfect opportunity to walk around the Blakeney Shopping center! They'll also hold the candles so you can pick-up at a later date. Items in the store were 10% off while there for the class. A glass of mimosa was included as well! The class was an hour long and cost $47.00. Would recommend!

I noticed a candle sitting under what I thought was just a lamp so I asked her what it was and she said it was a candle warmer. She explained to me that it melts the wax slower and the candle lasts longer. She also hand pours all her candles and makes the scents!! I was sold! I purchased a candle and a candle warmer and it's legit my new favorite thing ever lol. I always love supporting a small business, but this one is extra special to me now. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.
