When walking into the White Barn and Bath and Body Works store I was in shock. It was a mess. There was not enough customers within the store to not have an associate straightening and greeting guests. By the time I made it to the back of the store I finally found the associates. They were all in the back of the store talking and using profound Language. As a guest and previous manager for this company I was disgusted. No one said hello to me or any of the guests who trickled in because they were too worried about their conversations. One associate was even shilling for her own personal classroom scents while starting to put away product. The prices are average and surprised they don't have some of the everyday promotions that used to be available few years. But I understand things change. Though customer service should still be a priority.

What is also unique about this shop is the many classes and services that are provided. Like sound bath related to the moons or based on grounding your chakras. Definitely great for relaxing. They also offer bone throwing readings and even have space rentals for those who are wanting to host at a slot for tarot readings, meetings, metaphysical classes of all kinds. I usually shop at the Sephora inside Kohl's. I popped into this location today to get one thing I…read moreneeded while already at the mall. The staff were so incredibly rude! I am not the person who normally speaks up, but I couldn't help myself today. The line was impossibly long with only 1 register open and a long delay while the customer at the front of the line asked a lot of questions and paid with multiple transactions. It was seriously at least 10 minutes. A second employee came over and started herding and yelling at us to form a more orderly line. I calmly asked her if it would be possible to open a second register since the line was so long and not moving. She told me to mind my own business. I bit my tongue realizing (a) It wasn't worth it and (b) they just lost my business to the Ulta 2 miles closer to home. Several women in line thanked me for trying with the woman directly behind commenting that behavior like that is common and was exactly why this location has such bad reviews. When I finally made it to the register, the cashier offered me a free perfume sample for the wait which was insulting since it was already free and nothing special.
