I didn't buy it, not my preferred candle scent profile, but I definitely thought it was a cute idea. Fast forward to me driving down Schillinger and noticing that there's a Monet Candle Company storefront, that I'd never seen before. So I decided to go in a bring a custom project along with me! Sidebar & Preface: I'm a Volcano by Capri candle junkie. This is the candle that I buy, in bulk and forever & ever, amen. So-- i had just burned 2 of the 17oz mercury glass jar settings down to the very last drop, and I just couldn't part w/ the glass jars. So-- I took them to Monet to find a comparable scent, upcycle, AND support local during these tough times. #Winning I entered the shop, and John (owner, extraordinaire) Gave me a quick "tour de scents" and sprung into action to help me out. Although there's no comparable Volcano candle scent, the heavens parted when he showed me the Victoria's Secret "Love Spell" dupe! SOLD! Y'all don't understand-- that was my absolute favorite body lotion/body spray/everything scent in college! It's still my car scent today as Kirkland's sells the little packets (and I put them under my seats). I'm obsessed! He took my old jars, cleaned them out, and filled them with "Love Spell!" I've got 34 ounces to burn, and I'm thrilled! They burn fantastically, and the smell fills the home (I'm a stickler about that with my candles)! I was gifted a large, 3-wick Rae Dunn candle that I'm totally taking in for my next upcycle! (Doing a little to avoid the landfill) All that to say-- If it's not Volcano, it's gotta' be "Love Spell" for me. My obsession lives on, and I'm so glad I've found just the local shop to get 'er done! Thanks John, you rock!

I have bought a few more since then when I've seen them set up at the LoDa Art Walks. I was pretty excited when I recently learned that these candles can be purchased online. These soy candles smell so wonderful! They're come in a variety of scents and they are very fragrant. One candle burning will easily smell up my den, kitchen, dining room, foyer, bar, butler's pantry and hallway (that's 7 spaces to 1 candle). They sell for about $10-$15 each and come in pretty little jars with a twine bow and tag. I know it's pretty impressive that one candle can smell up seven rooms, but the best thing about these candles is actually the cause behind them. Lights of LOV is a candle making business created by Light of the Village. The purpose of Lights of LOV is to help those who are underprivileged or face other obstacles such as a criminal history, to learn job skills, work ethic, and appropriate behavior and dress for employment. If you aren't familiar with Light of the Village, it also offers summer camps and after school programs for children, life skill programs for adults such as GED classes, addiction recovery, driver education. It's a truly wonderful organization that relies on community support. What's a better way to make your home smell wonderful and help others than buying a Lights of LOV candle?

They did have some representation of different colors. They even had Bernie in his now famous seated position wrapped in Christmas lights. And they had some of my gnome friends on display and for sale. So many variations of nativity scenes, snowy city displays, and just oh my goodness so very much.
