The ambiance was beautiful, the cocktails were great, and the candle-making experience was so much fun. There were definitely a few moments of decision overload as I was trying to figure out exactly what I wanted, and the team did such a great job stepping right in to help and guide us. They were so welcoming and attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. My boyfriend was so impressed with the experience that he was telling his family about it afterward, and I was just as impressed. We both had such a great time, and I'm really glad we chose Glassnote for our anniversary. I would absolutely recommend it for a date night or special occasion!

Glassnote Candle Bar was such a fun and unique girls night out/date night experience. You have to…read moremake a reservation, which allows for a personalized, non-rushed experience. When you arrive, you are greeted by a cocktail menu with many great options that make it hard to choose. They also had a build your own old fashioned menu which we obviously had to try and ended up being a highlight. For the candle making itself, you start by going to a wall full of different scents. The staff tell you the proper way to smell it and what you should be looking for in a candle. I honestly learned so much. Once we picked our scents, our server then walked us through the candle making process. She was very attentive and explained everything, making it really easy to follow. After the candles were made, we had to wait about 30 minutes to let them settle, which gave us time to chat and try another cocktail. In total it took about 2 hours. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to cost. It was pretty pricey to make a single candle, which you are paying for the experience as well. However, something to keep in mind when planning your next date night. Overall, we had a fun time making the candles (and cocktails) and I will be recommending Glassnote to my friends for a unique night out.

Most were decidedly more "chemicaly" smelling than I had anticipated, but not a big deal. The young lady assisting us was incredibly knowledgeable, and only a little frustrated that I was taking so long and her next group had arrived. There are more scents in the back, apparently, if you aren't loving what is initially offered. My friend might have appreciated that information earlier, but we was informed there wasn't any time for her to re-evaluate in light of the new offerings. We hurried up finishing the perfume assembling process to not be any more of an inconvenience, wandered briefly through the store and presumed to leave. A man came running after us yelling "YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THOSE." My friend and I stop in our tracks in the doorway. I turn to face my accuser. He's decidedly in my space as the three of us stand in the doorway. He continues to reference paying in an agitated tone. I probably looked confused. You know because I had, in fact, paid, and all. But I reached in my purse while he's continuing to fume in my direct vicinity and produced the first piece of paper I found relative to the transaction, on which one of the store employees had helpfully written -PAID-. If you, like me, figured that would be the end of the inquest, you would be mistaken. Still looming and apparently not yet convinced, he informed me that if I had paid, I would have a receipt. I dig back in my purse and produce the receipt. He glares at it before informing me that the cashier hadn't let him know. Which was information he might have considered accessing earlier in this regrettable interaction.
