The store is like a discount K-Mart. Turns out there was a Target at the mall one exit away, but I am so glad I found Gabe's. They had a blue Menards full zip fleece, which looks like it's a work shirt for employees and, wait for it, it was $6. I love Gabe's. Gabe's is great.

I still could no get a clerk to assist me so I picked a pair and set them aside, walked out the store and went to the other shoe store they addressed me as I walked in the store asked want they could help me with I asked if they carried crocs she stated no so left and went back to the Shoe Dept picked the box and went to the pay I had to wait another 10 minutes for a cashier to show up and take my money i did buy the shoes but i will go to Morgantown and not use this store again. Very poorly ran and could care less if they sell the product.

Books-A-Million is a chain bookstore located inside the Meadowbrook Mall. With malls continuing to…read moredwindle in store options in general, it is nice that there is still a bookstore in this mall at all. This store is near the Marshall's entrance of the mall, with plenty of lot parking. It is a bright and well kept store, with front displays and shelves that cater to best-seller fiction readers, both adult and young adult. Then the typical common genres are shelved in the back, i.e. fiction, non-fiction, childrens, etc. We stopped in just after Christmas, and all of the calendars were half off, so I snagged a couple of those. My 12-year old son was particularly enamored with a set of fountain pens, and purchased them for $13 with some of his Santa money. I was impressed with the larger assortment of Tarot decks in stock in the mystic section of the store, with a new pasta-themed Tarot deck I had not seen elsewhere. In the bargain book section, I snagged an anthology of Ray Bradbury short stories I didn't have for five bucks. My husband bought a few books too, including the novel that the show 'Altered Carbon' is based on. The staff were all friendly enough, and are doing a good job overall of keeping the store tidy. We were just visiting on a family road trip to the Bridgeport WV area, but if we lived near here, we would frequent Books-A-Million when in need of a chain bookstore.

Spencer's is just as I remember it when I was a teen--alt trendy in the front and borderline-XXX in the back, hahaha. My teens always joke, "Don't go too far in the back of the store! We're not supposed to see that!" HA! This Spencer's was well stocked and well maintained. It is designed to overstimulate, with floor-to-ceiling merchandise that is alt pop-culture wild and wacky, with some raunchy mixed in. There was a tee clearance sale going on when we were in, and our teens dug through the crates and each found a couple they liked for $7 or $8 a piece. My darling husband offered to buy me a Tarot deck I was examining, as they had a small but quality rack of decks here. The checkout staff was friendly and kept the line moving along. Our fam' had fun shopping at this Spencer's, just not too deep into the depths of the store, of course. ;-) :-D :-D :-D
