With soap, jewelry, dish towels, detergent, tote bags, throw pillows, playing cards, stationary, a small pantry that includes fresh items from local small business, and everything in between. Frae also has a classroom with classes on candle and soap making, metal art, sewing classes and even creating a charcuterie board. Over the holidays they had themed based classes for those wanting to have a personal touch in their holiday decorating. The goods here come from all over, especially from small businesses from both Billings and Montana in general, but also from elsewhere in the country or from around the world from others who also believe in recycling, eco-friendly, and sustainable goods for daily living. While it is a small store, many other things are available on line and if for any questions on anything in the store or from where it is sourced, the owner will let you know, or find out for you. This is a great store with many fun and useful items, some of which you didn't know you needed but wondered how you could have not found it sooner..

I got on the phone with customer service as he said they would be able to resolve the issue in 24-48 hours??? When i finally got my payment to go through days later (never heard back from customer service) I placed the order for curbside and was not notified when my order was complete, didn't give me an option to add my parking spot so i called the store. After 4 different attempts at getting them on the phone someone finally answered and told me i had to come inside to pick it up? Why would i do that being i work an extremely busy schedule and do not have time to shop or go inside. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, and when i got inside i stood by the "pickup area" and was ignored for close to 5 minutes when someone finally approached me and started gathering my order scanning the items. This is after i walked into the store and not only did the 4 ulta employees standing by the door glare at me but i did not get greeted by anyone. This is the WORST online shopping turned to in store shopping i have ever experienced. EXTREMELY unprofessional, i will no longer be shopping at Ulta and until i receive a customer complaint response i will make sure everyone else knows this is absolutely not the place to shop. SMH Ulta employees! Sephora will be the only place i shop for supplies moving forward until I'm compensated or receive an apology.

Rock Creek soaps is a perfect shop for finding natural, hand-made soaps, candles, lotions and the…read morelike, all locally made. Because it's located in the warehouse area of downtown Billings, Rock Creek Soap can manufacture on the premises. That's an ideal way to keep costs down and pay attention to the craft. And that makes this a must-stop place. Although the current shelter-in-place rules keep Rock Creek from a fully operational stop-and-shop daily business, they are open one day a week currently, and the on-line ordering is always available. Being a visual learner, I like to see the product, inhale the scent, and, if there's a tester available, try it out. Since this tester option isn't available for obvious reasons during this current situation, I was able to see the product, and, if it was soap, could smell the main ingredients. One of the owners was able to explain the uses of certain ingredients and that was helpful. There are a mixture of bar soaps, swirled or stamped, boxed or not, and those with stamps, for instance of an animal, a marine animal, or a star, make for an interesting twist on a standard bar of soap. I couldn't really detect a connection between the stamp and the fragrance, but perhaps it's better that way. If shopping locally isn't enough, Rock Creek offers soapmaking classes, kids birthday parties, and lest the adults feel left out, a group party for adults to learn how to do their own product and then have fun on site practicing it. It's a fun shop with an entire selection of ready-made gifts or stocking stuffers.
