As I went in I didn't know how big this place was and not knowing anything about makeup didn't help. As I was. Walking I got as getting frustrated and I approached the lady over the Clinique area and asked for help. Her name is Talitha. I asked her I wanted a specific look and more of a coverage. She was very thorough and asked me how my skin is, if it was usually oily or dry. I told her my skin was very dry and I could t use any lotion with fragrance on it and she knew exactly what to use on my skin. She tried a couple of foundations and chose the perfect one for me from Clinique with medium coverage (16). She then asked me who was doing my makeup for this event. And I told her I didn't have the money to spend for someone to do my makeup. She then offered me and three of my other classmates who were also there to do our makeup for free for our veterinary banquet. I couldn't believe it, I asked her again and she wrote our names on her book. I ended up getting more things that day that she recommended without her pushing me to buy them. When we got there on Saturday she did an AMAZING job and not only that. She gave us a tiny gift bag with Clinique samples and also a letter. She mentioned they didn't have helium otherwise she would've given us balloons. HANDS DOWN the best person ever. ULTA better make sure to keep her, or I won't go there anymore.

She made us feel judged for our budget, repeatedly huffed and puffed, and acted like helping us was the biggest inconvenience in the world. We came into Ulta expecting basic customer service and a welcoming environment, not to be made to feel embarrassed for how much we wanted to spend. The looks, attitude, and overall disrespect were completely unnecessary. Nobody should have to feel uncomfortable or judged for asking for help or shopping within their means. Erika's behavior made what should have been a simple, enjoyable shopping experience genuinely unpleasant. I hope management addresses this because no customer deserves to be treated this way. We left feeling unwelcome, and this experience has seriously affected how I feel about shopping at this location. Absolutely disappointing.

I had scheduled an appointment with Margie to get a haircut and balayage a few days before I left…read morefor spring break. When I showed up, Margie was super sweet to me and made sure I was comfortable. I showed her pictures of the color and cut I wanted and we continued with the appointment. I noticed that she was lightening my hair all the way to the root, which is not balayage, so I grew a little nervous, but figured it would turn out fine. After all, it's just hair. Once the cut and color was over with, I knew it looked nothing like the photo I wanted. But, it didn't look horrible from what I could tell, so I paid $120 for her services and left. After I had returned home, I took a closer look at the color and realized how streaky and horrible it truly was. The color was not blended at all, and it looked like I had a stair case of highlights all over my head. There were clumps of bleach blonde everywhere. The haircut itself wasn't great, but the color was my biggest issue. Because I was leaving for spring break in two days, I panicked and had to call around all of Auburn in order to find someone else to fix my hair. Thankfully, I did, but it should've been done correctly the first time. I truly hate leaving a negative review for someone who was very sweet to me, however my hair looked horrible. I do not wish for anyone else to have the same experience as me.

i've been going here for YEARS, but how well your nails are done if getting anything other than a…read morecolor change, seriously DEPENDS ON YOUR NAIL TECH! i don't plan on going back unless i have an appointment with Nikki or i believe Kasey? thats who posts on their instagram and have done mine very well in the past. in terms of other techs, i've had a lot of bad experiences (and only continue to go back for the two girls listed above). the first two pictures are just two examples of problems i've had. the third picture was done by Nikki in December 2020 and was exactly what i asked for plus some! she was great about mixing designs from different pictures and taking her time to make sure i was happy. they're REALLY pushy about getting dip powder (every time) even after i had said i wanted acrylics, and i finally agreed, which was a mistake. then realized i have to get a new set every single time instead of fills (which is literally why i wanted new acrylics) and is so much shorter than i wanted. my natural nails were that length before she clipped them to put on the extension.
