Now that I'm in Randolph, it's only 25 minutes away. This is my new addiction, for sure! Downtown Winthrop is adorable on its own, so it's a joy to visit. The shop is everything! It has something for everyone. Vintage clothes, handcrafted items, local Maine gifts, a candy store, very carefully and thoughtfully curated collection of seasonal surprises around every corner, and there is so much to explore! Be prepared to spend a couple hours in here, easily! Prices were decent, very affordable. Especially considering every item had so much thought and love put into it. Serious! Every display was PERFECTION! It was definitely inspiring, and made me want to plan out an entire re-do on my home decor. Service here is top notch, we met the owners and they are very sweet. Of many home projects this year, one of the most satisfying involves floating shelves from RSW. I…read morejust happened upon the virtual storefront on Etsy, and saw all the good ratings. We placed an order, which arrived 49 days later, two 84"-long floating frames (for displays in our living room) crafted of cherry wood and finished with a light oil. The shelves came with mounting hardware, but my contractor opted to use his own torx-drive woodscrews to mount to the studs. What great shelves! The construction is beautiful, with barely a 3/8" bend in the wood across the 84" length, easily straightened during the process of mounting. My contractor was impressed by what he says is the hand-planing of visible surface. A little beeswax and oil polishing, and we have wonderful shelves for rotating displays of photos and memorabilia. It took a while to arrive, as was the time, but no longer than any other place quoted us. We had great delivery, including bring it upstairs. More recently, we bought a new stove. Ended up getting a showroom display because it was the last one, so we got a great deal on it. The staff and owner were very helpful in finding us something that was perfect for us. It's an induction top and exactly the right size and shape for our kitchen. It has been working exceptionally well for us and we are so happy we switched to induction! Overall, we have just been pleased with the durability and service, especially compared to other places we have shopped for appliances over the years.
