I've been to many cities around Europe and the public transportation in Nice is adequate. Nice…read moreoffers a more 'smooth-running' tram service. I believe Lignes d'Azur is the only public transport in Nice offering both bus and tram services. My dad and I purchased a 7-day bus/tram pass after taking Tram 98 to our hotel on the Promenade. Although we didn't use the buses besides the airport, we really took advantage of the tram line going from one end to the other whenever we wanted to explore or get something to eat. Apart from the work commute hours, the trams are generally less crowded and always a better option than taking a taxi or an Uber in my opinion. 7 day passes get the job done on a weekly basis.

Worst experience ever while attempting to board coach 750 to Isola 2000 this morning at 7.30am! Bus…read moredriver from @lignesdazur stubbornly refuses access to bus on the pretext that I did not book online (which was not possible yesterday because you must book online 2 days before departure date!). Why did the woman from @lignesdazur, whom I had to called on surcharged phone line 0810061006 yesterday told me that it would be no problem to buy a ticket with cash on the coach 750 yesterday, then? Avoid @lignesdazur at all cost, they are useless, inconsistent and a bunch of incompetents. Bus driver from @lignesdazur of coach 750, with the "Plaque d'immatriculation" "AD 307 GZ 06", & yr managers, who refused on & on to accept my 6 euros in cash to board coach 750, I wish u the worst year 2018 ever, with plenty of misery, sorrow & unhappiness. Stop working at once!

Quality/Quantity - Easy in and out. Especially with Easy Jet airline, pun intended…read more First time at this airport and maybe even a first time with this airline. Asked the first employee we saw that directed us to the correct baggage check, and of course we were supposed to go to the furthest part of the airport. Team members checked our boarding pass and ID. Self service baggage kiosk and off we went to the lounge, which was right after security. And then we realized that our gate was just in front of our Infinity Lounge. What a great start! Ambiance - Huge airport, minimum of two terminals. But clear instructions from Easy Jet airline and Google Maps. Service - Mostly self service. Price - Depends on where you go. We paid extra for assigned seats, baggage check, etc. Owner Comment - Thank you for an easy experience.

Yelp Review 2026 #178:…read more Arriving to and departing from NCE was easy but all I had was a purse with a tote bag inside for all the things I planned on getting in Nice. I didn't go through customs and immigration since I was coming from and going to a Schengen country. I can't say anything about the carousel at baggage claim since I didn't check a bag. It's not a massive airport. A few restaurants, cafes and bars. There's a huge bar/ restaurant hall in the departures area but it was closed without hours posted anywhere. You can get a tram to get to Nice-ville Station. Or take a tram to Saint-Augustin to catch a train to Ventimiglia, Italy stopping at Nice-ville, Sur Mer, Eze, Cap-d'Ail, Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Carnolès, and Menton. Passing 3 countries with one train ride. But the bad part is that, buying a transportation card from the kiosks at the airport sucks. They only carry 3-day passes minimum. I was only in Nice for a day since it's not a big city.
