When I asked them to give me a reasonable accomodation on pricing for a replacement system they did not bother to do that, but they did offer to sell me a whole home dehumidifier to reduce the high humidity levels in my house caused by the wrong sized system they installed. I was a senior senior citizen when they sold me the oversized system. I am told that the AG's office in Austin would be very interested, but I do not want to cause them that kind of problem. So. I am just stuck it seems. Be careful. They will sell you what you ask for whether it is technically correct for your home or not. Service requested: They gave me what I asked for. Quality: I got the Amana brand. Value: Wrong system for my home. Where's the value in that ?

Right away, I was impressed by his professionalism, extensive knowledge, and down-to-earth personality. His pricing was incredibly fair--coming in lower than two other estimates--and he never felt "salesy," so I hired him to install my new AC unit. True to his word, he even followed up in the spring to make sure everything was running perfectly. Since then, I have confidently recommended Michael to family, friends, and neighbors because I know he truly cares about his customers. In fact, he once went above and beyond by making service calls to both my grandmother's and my neighbor's homes on Mother's Day! That level of dedication is almost unheard of these days. This past Thursday, my system stopped cooling. The inside blower wasn't responding--a component we hadn't replaced during the initial install. Back in 2024, Michael honestly told me I could get more time out of that part rather than trying to upsell me, which I deeply appreciated. When I called him, he kept in touch throughout the day and arrived at 5:15 PM. Even though it was late and a miserable 87 degrees inside my house, he showed nothing but a willingness to help. I also learned that Michael handles his own installations rather than subbing them out, which speaks volumes about his work ethic. He left to grab the necessary part, came back, and worked for a few hours until our home was finally cooling again. Michael is a hardworking, incredibly knowledgeable guy who clearly loves what he does. I will continue to use only him for my AC needs and refer everyone to him. There was a problem with the wiring and they were able to place a temporary pump in the system until they could get the parts they need to fix it. They returned the next business day and within an hour had everything refurbished and working as good as new. The final bill came in a few hundred dollars less than the original estimate, so I was pleased with that.
