I had Jesse repair ceiling cracks from foundation settling in an older home. He took time to explain how he repaired it and even took care to match my ceiling texture. I've hired some handymen who were not particularly consistent. Do the first job like a champ, then after that, they got sloppy. Dean and his guys were good from day one, and any issues I had were quickly resolved (let's face it, asking someone to work on my 39 year old house will reveal some underlying issues). Yes, Dean is my go-to guy. He and his wife are patient and very understanding, ask a lot of questions to make sure they're clear on what's needed, and they follow-up and communicate through the project and after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone, even to people who aren't particularly handy and just want an honest team on the job. Honest and dependable, good folks.

The problem came when he couldn't do the flooring in the laundry room because it was still wet. He said he'd come back to totally finish the job later, but that's not what happened. That was the last straw. I would not hire him again. If you say you're going to do something, you need to do it and not string along customers.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. During May of 2025 I received a bid for siding and soffit replacement…read more Kelly brought the "JOB SUPERVISOR" to help with the estimate. Never seen that man again! They sent two guys that were respectful and wanted to work, but needed direction and supervision. They used a lot of my tools as they were not prepared to take on this job. I was in contact nearly every day with Kelly and her partner as I tried to work with them. I could go on and on about their excuses. Subs were asking if I was paying Kelly, because they were not getting paid. After about three weeks (into a ten day job) I had to ask them to leave with the job half done. (less than half once the new contractor had to redo some of their work) At that point Kelly demanded full payment. I believe Kelly and her partner know very little about renovations. They bid the job, order materials and hope their subcontractors can make it work. I will add that I had worked in construction when I was younger, so i am familiar with what was needed I had a bad feeling about Kelly the first time we met, she really didn't seems to understand the work process or construction in general. Thinking she was just the front person I move forward with them. I should have listened to my gut.

I had a large project that consisted of:…read more a. installation of category-6 cable networking of an existing 20-year-old home. b. installation of 5 large-screen (65" to 85") Samsung TV's (wall-mounted in bedrooms) c. installation of several new electrical outlets (for TV's and stereo equipment) d. installation of exterior home Bose Speakers, interior in-wall-Bose speakers, and wiring of existing Bose 901 Series VI Bose Speakers Most of the work was done by Spencer and Sherif--only the electric outlets were subcontracted out for a professional electrician (separate costs). Note: Amost all of the work has been finished except for "D" above--because the home is old and needs retrofitting, the stereo install will need to wait. A few networking outlets need to be finished up and some of the TV's need to be hung (3 remaining). I can't tell you how highly I recommend Spencer and Sharif. These guys are intelligent, professional, well-spoken, hard-working, and give you a written quote that they stuck to. Both are incredibly talented and have the know-how of installing networking, wiring, home-theaters, etc. Spencer wanted me to install a home-theater using non-Bose equipment. That's okay. I'm a big Bose guy and wanted Bose--but that isn't because Spencer is anti-Bose. He just wanted me to get the most current, modern system possible. My issue was I already owned all this Bose and (older) Pioneer SXV-90 and Sony equipment. They worked in the middle of the Texas summer--in my home and attic. Did a phenomenal job. Spencer did inform me they're moving to a "per-hour" rate. He quoted me a $150/hour rate for my upcoming installations. It works out about the same as his prior quote. I TRUST THESE GUYS. I ENJOYED THEIR WORK ETHIC, THEIR CONVERSATION, THEIR INTEGRITY, AND HONESTY. I have to end this review because I've got to e-mail Spencer and have him come back for the remainder of the work. 10 STARS out of 5.
