After painting my entry and hall the wrong color 2x and then my 3rd paint job being the right…read moreone....I have been all painted out. The thought of picking up a paint brush to get my kitchen done just made me ill. I hate climbing up and down ladders and when I looked at the cabinets and having to lean over them to paint just wasn't in the cards for me. I recently hired Juli from Paint Color Help to pick out my color and so I decided to hire painters to get the job done so I didn't procrastinate for a month or take forever painting my kitchen by myself in small sections. I found an ad on Craigslist and setup a free estimate the next evening...I met with Maynard who gave me a fair price and he had painters available for the next day. I gave him a deposit and a key to my house. The painters went and got the paint for me (YAY#1), painted my kitchen - even behind the refridgerator! (YAY#2), left the key under the mat (YAY#3) - nothing in my house was missing or damaged (YAY#4) and I paid him the balance over the phone with my credit card. They made everything super easy for me - the work was top notch and I would use them again. The one and ONLY reason I didn't rate them 5* was because they tracked in alot of dirt and the floors were a mess after they left - it would have been nice for them to have swept it up. But the paint job was amazing!

This company painted the exterior of my home last week. Be careful and ask up front what exactly…read morethey will and will not do (and get it all in writing from day 1). It was a very sloppy and unprofessional job! I spent over two (2) hours cleaning up after they left (in which they didn't even bother to tell me that they were finished and leaving). I will not be recommending their work to anyone due to the very poor workmanship and lack of quality. I have all sorts of things with paint on them now to include concrete, grass, landscaping, rock, fountain, pots, grill cover, etc. There is cardboard sitting on top of my roof. There are areas that were not painted. There are areas that were not caulked.

I had about 1000 sq ft of ceiling painted and part of it was repaired. Texture was matched and looked perfect. I can barely tell there was a hole in my ceiling. Only reason why I didn't rate a 5/5 was because of dealing with Phil. He called out the shoddy paint job that was on there before. He claimed that he had attention to detail and that's what mattered; to not worry about it and that they would do better. So come around the time the job was done, they forgot to put a stain blocker on a stain they were painting over and his excuse was that no one is perfect and that they did their best. Definitely not someone that should be working there and making such statements, especially when customers are seeking perfection if not close to it when it comes to painting and repairs. If it wasn't for Brant, I definitely would of gone crazy. He worked with me and was understanding to the whole situation. He even took time off his own weekend to check up on the job. Over all, you should definitely move forward and give them a try. Even if the job goes south, you can trust that Brant will make sure you end up happy.

I cannot say enough good things about Jesse Rangel! Jesse was quick to respond, visit, and give me…read morea quote well within my budget. He gave me options and made suggestions while respecting my priorities. When he came to do the work, I was blown away at his professionalism. He prepped my area with great attention to detail, kept the dust to a minimum, asked me to walk through at the end, then cleaned up completely. I had Jesse repair ceiling cracks from foundation settling in an older home. He took time to explain how he repaired it and even took care to match my ceiling texture. I'm so grateful and impressed by Jesse and his spirit of excellence. Well done. I'll be using him for future projects!

I worked with Jesse and his team to finish a commercial remodeling project that another contractor…read morehad done a good job on, but abandoned the project at about 95% done. I paid Jesse $15k to finish this job, and he was aware of each element of the project including trim work, painting, and fixing the floors that were not glued down properly. We started the project well, and the work done on the crown molding looked good. They touched up some drywall texture and it looked really rough in certain areas, and was much heavier than the existing texture. It seemed the guys didn't really know what they were doing with texture. He did fix it somewhat, although there are still areas where you can visibly see it does not match. Also some of the doors/trim that were painted were done quickly with a very heavy textured brush, and should have been done with a light roller to match the others. But for the most part they fixed things we pointed out and they looked better by the end. Where the issues really came in was at the end. Jesse told us to blue tape everything that needed to be redone and we did. They then came and "fixed" it and removed the tape, however we noticed many of the things we taped looked the same and the tape had just been removed. We did that three or four times and there was still things that they were just removing tape on. I then walked it with him and he said he was going to fix the things I pointed out, including flooring that still needed to be glued back down. He then sent guys over and they didn't do any of the things we discussed. He told me to blue tape it AGAIN, and I said no that they are just removing the tape and not doing the work, but if he sends guys we will show them what to fix. Fast forward a few months, and the last few things we had taped were never fixed, floor tiles are still bubbling up that he was supposed to fix, and he says because he did "extra work" that he is no longer responsible to finish the actual job he contractually agreed to. (The "extra work" he referred to was putting in drywall ceiling instead of drop ceiling in a room addition. We had never discussed or agreed to a drop ceiling so I was going to cancel the job, but he agreed to switch it to keep the job.) I tried to come to an agreement with him and potentially give him more work if he finished the previous job. However he didn't even show up when he said he would to quote me on it, so at this point I'm just going to find a new contractor. I'm disappointed but I only want to work with people who keep their word and honor their contracts. Attached part of contract and screenshots of texts.
