The Allergy Shop and Norman were a rip-off. He basically just shop-vac'd my ducts and then told me…read moreI needed to get my dad and a scraper to clean the duct boots. Why did I pay $315 for him to tell me how my dad should more thoroughly clean?? He also left a mess in every room under the ducts of particles that had fallen down. He only acknowledged it in one room, where we have an ottoman that is flaky so he obviously didn't need to clean that room. Every other room he left dirty with duct particle mess. The only thing he did well was notify me of an area that looked like black mold. However, he led me to believe that cleaning it would cost $20,000 - $30,000. I had a mold remediation specialist come out who said I could clean it with a Clorox/water mixture. So I feel like that falls under the definition of duct cleaning that Norman probably should have done. TLDR: Don't waste your time and money with this place. Call anyone else, or just buy yourself a shopvac and you'll get more value.

On each and every occasion I have found Mr. McDonald and his staff to be exceptionally knowledgeable, dependable, punctual. They are also meticulous and pay great attention to detail, one of the other traits that I find rare and much appreciate after each job they clean up the area and don't leave a mess behind for me to take care of afterwards. Competitively priced, Mr. McDonald's knowledge and dedication to his trade is nothing less than impressive. I've even had to call upon Mr. McDonald on a Sunday afternoon and with great apprehension I was extremely surprised and grateful that he was able to help me with a thermostat issue and came to my house within the hour! That is truly the definition of service, which is hard to find these days.
