Said we needed the Club booth to look up our card for us to get discounts. Here Today! Bass Pro Shop allowed me to park my motorcoach on their lot since I was a guest at the Hilton Hotel. I really appreciated the fact that it was well lighted and had a security car monitoring the lot. The area is beautiful, I posted a picture with real ducks in their pond. This is a really nice Bass Pro I was thinking it would have been larger but for the area it was pretty big. Now if you want to goto a big Bass Pro goto the one in Springfield OMG it bigger than a shopping mall. You won't believe everything that they have and you can't do the whole store in one day because of the museums and everything to look at. The aquariums are giant size. read more

We stopped here on our walk along the river to take a look at different items, but mostly the fish inside! My daughter enjoyed seeing those and we enjoyed the AC and a break from the heat. A little difficult figuring out how to get in. They have a restaurant on site but we did not visit. read more

This is a review for the bass pro shop restaurant I went there with My Family a few days ago for vacation, first of all, they put us at a table by the window there were cobwebs and second, we had the spinach dip it looked canned and then they had some half melted cheese. then after we got that and cornbread they made us wait 1 hour and almost 40 mins for our food than when we got the food the Mahi - Mahi was like one fish but it looked like they cut the one fish in half and gave it as two fishes. then the catfish had zero seasoning and then the ribs we got had no sauce on them I don't know if they come with sauce on them . but there was no sauce on them. then we had the fried pickle it was small and dry and then the breading on it looked very dry as well it was very gross and I did not enjoy My time there at all. would not go again it was very upsetting. read more

I love this store!! So much to see so little time!! They have a really nice aquarium that has rainbow trout and walleye in it. There are some huge specimens of deer with racks that are extremely. Impressive. The people were really nice but they do push hard to get you to open a Bass Pro Club Card and or buy a mini VaCa from one of Johnny Morris properties... my only disappointment was not enough dedicated kayaks or kayaking apparel!!! And backpacks that are more like school bags vs hiking backpacks.... I really had a Great time though! read more

Talk about an awesome store! It's my first time in a Bass Pro Shop and I'm not sure if they are all set up like this one, but OMG did I enjoy this place. I'm an outdoorsy kind of dude, but I'm not much on fishing, so I've never really thought to visit the inside of a Bass Pro Shop, but that has changed. This store was so neat and cool with all kinds of gear and utilities for life outdoors. I will definitely be back to shop, but the really cool thing was the waterfall and live aquarium at the rear of the store. I don't know how often they do it, but a store employee came out and gave a brief educational lecture about the different fish (trout, bass, etc.) living in the aquarium. It was so rustic and beautiful I could have camped inside the store all day. This is one of those unfortunate times I was so excited I forgot to take pics, so you'll have to trust me about it's beauty, or visit and see for yourself if you are in Branson. It's located on the south end of Branson Landing outdoor shopping mall. Went into bass pro shop expecting to go fishing, turns out it was FALSE ADVERTISING!! When I went to the fish tank it was waaaayyy to big for me to jump in and noodle for my dinner. Super frustrating for me. Add this to the total lack of regard for women ( seen by the sexist sheriff name tags in the children's department) and you get one bad vibe! We were in Branson at our river house. We enjoy visiting Bass Pro every time we are here. Yesterday, while shopping, I am going to use the word accosted. I was approached by a woman employed by Bass Pro wanting me to open a BP credit card. I told her politely, no I wasn't interested, but thank you. That is where it should have ended. It didn't. She came around my basket, essentially blocking me and telling me why I needed to have a BP credit card. I didn't appreciate it one bit. If you are going to continue this practice in your stores, we will not be returning. We have a home, as well, in NWA and we visit the Cabelas/Bass Pro in Rogers. I want to make sure that it is understood, this wasn't the people right by the entry door. They are polite. When you tell them, no thank you, they say okay and leave you alone. Good but not great. Hard to get to(parking), and high priced. You can buy all of this stuff on the website and not have to deal with the hassle or tourist. But I prefer Cabellas. This location pales in comparison to the Springfield, MO Bass Pro. read more

Bass Pro is FULL retail price for everything. Even with a VIP 10% - 20% off card, Wal-Mart is less expensive on same items. I bought a boat there a few years ago and started receiving mailers for discount annual maintenance. They wouldn't answer the phone to make an appointment or return a call to make an appointment. I tried several times over a two to three week period. Just now I tried find out if they have a particular reel in stock ("needed" another Diawa RG2000 AB, Great reel, better than my Pfluger Presidents[but that's not the point]) sure the operator will transfer you, but that's as far as your getting. For full price on everything, you'd think they could afford to have someone in the reels department to answer the phone... guess not. To bad they put all the little guys out of business, bet they wouldn't keep you on hold for 20min, until you just give up... read more

Basic Bass Pro shop, a little smaller. Located on the river downtown, but they do have a very large vacation area..time shares. Checked out the boats in the building and got caught by the time share guys. Forth of July weekend you expect more than one cashier working, especially in a tourist area. read more

My first experience at a Bass Pro Shop, and very entertaining -- will have to check out my local one now! Great walk from the parking lot along the path by the river -- very scenic and gets you in the mood to go shopping for some fishing gear. Absolutely love the outside grounds -- a cool restaurant on riverside dock. Could have spent a couple hours in here exploring all the displays -- but on a mission to go fishing made it out pretty quickly after checking out the fish aquarium with some very nice specimens....what a selection of poles and tackle! There very big aquarium with all kind alive fish yes alive and not stuffed animals or in this situation stuffed fishies! Is Fishy even a word? There was even an Albino Catfish, I not see him as lasting too long! Maybe in aquarium setting but in wild Albinos will not last long! If they a prey animal, they get eaten right away by predatory animal! If they predatory animal, once they old enough leave the nest (leave MOTHER and FATHER) they will not to survive, the prey animals will see the difference in them so always getting away! Sure some animals color blind but there still the distinctive difference in albino animals as compared to regular color animals, not knowing better way word it! There books for children and for adults! One was about moose! I think I still having that book! They saw me reading it, supposed at time be a promotion for some event the leader say, "I will let you have it!" Maybe I should send a book about moose yes I do children stories, to New Hope Methodist Presbyterian Church in the North Pole ALASKA! Your typical Bass Pro Shop.... friendly staff is the main proponent of this shop. Most people know what to expect when they come in to these shops, what makes the difference is the staffing. It was also refreshing to see older folks with a lot of knowledge about hunting and fishing, not just workers without a clue. read more

Okay, it's a Bass Pro Shop, but it is small (compared to other BPS's). Limited merchandise due it's size and very crowded! This place is in the heart of Branson, so as you would imagine, it's CROWDED. Other than that, it's pretty much what you'd expect from any BPS. Obviously, with Branson being a huge tourist location, parking is at a premium! They have a large parking lot, but it's shared by many of the nearby businesses. So be prepared to circle the lot a few times to find a spot, and if you have someone in the car that is unable to walk a great distance, I'd suggest dropping them off in front, because you might find yourself parked quite a distance from your destination (yes, the lot's pretty large)! As a side note... this BPS is located within 30 yards of the White River Fish House (whiteriverfishhouse.com)... an exceptional (predominantly) seafood restaurant, which is actually run by Bass Pro Shop. We went there for Father's Day, after visiting BPS of course, and it was absolutely fabulous! If you go, try the Bloody Mary! One of the best I've ever had! read more

Went into get a scooter for a disabled person that was with me they told me that I couldn't take it out but I can rent one at another place in town when I was shopping there. So after that as we started to go look around in the store the greeter is very pushy trying to get us to apply for a bass pro credit card and that if we decide we want to we need to come talk to him. What are they thinking? Hot inside the store. Hot outside, too, but there is a breeze outside. So hot, people are walking around with foreheads glistening with perspiration. We are approached by a salesman for the timeshare. Fill out a registration. Looking at a table of men's Henley polos. Not a single extra large tall, but we are approached by a woman, not wanting to help us look, but to try to get me to register for a rewards card. Finally locate a button up shirt xlt. Hubby wonders if I want to shop in the ladies department. No thank-you. My body is sweating. Other customers are sweating. Who wants to try on clothes with a sweaty body that were tried on by someone else's sweaty body. Walk toward cashier to buy bunny's shirt. Approached by yet another person wanting us to register for something. Standing in line st the cashier. Both lines have four or more customers waiting. One cashier is waiting for a manager. Then the other cashier is waiting for a manager. Plenty of people to harass you while shopping. No one to help Check-out. I feel faint and can't breathe.
