My fiancé wanted to stop by Bass Pro Shops to pick up a few items. I've never been but he did say there was a cool fish tank inside. The store has a fun outdoorsy aesthetic. They have literally everything in the store-- from clothing, camping gear, food, hunting supplies, boats, literally everything and anything outdoors. The store is very clean and super organized by section. I did end up getting some apparel and a tumbler and my fiancé got the supplies he needed. The prices are fair for their merchandise! I love their trucker hats! It is definitely worth a visit. Also they have a large parking lot and if you purchase $30 or more they'll validate your parking for 4 hours free-- so we were also able to wander around the Tanger outlets across the street! read more

I love Bass Pro Shops! Like all of them this one is huge. Decent sized parking lot and it's only a block or two off the of the boardwalk. It's right by Caesar's Palace. There are two floors here but it's open floors so you can pretty much see the whole store, which is typical of Bass Bro Shops, which is awesome. As far as what they have, pretty much anything to you would need for anything outdoors. Camping, shoes, clothes, hunting, fishing, etc. I usually always buy something here but it's also a great store to browse as well. They have the fish tank here as well which is great too. read more

This is a fun must visit.. many may think by the name it's simply a fishing accessory store but that's so far from the truth. It has a massive fishing accessory section for kites rods anything you need , also has a fishing boat section to view and speak directly with the vendors for the boats. There's a large selection of performance brands for outdoor activities as well as their own brand of t shirts for fans I bought one of those and it has a great fit and nice feel..there's a section with bbq grills and seasonings and the experience is incredible as u can see in my photos...just next to tangiers outlets..u can get free parking if u buy something they will validate you I think the minimum is 30@ bucks otherwise u pay 10 bucks ..as far as ac goes with parking I felt it was a good deal ....please check out the pics this place is fun for kids to explore and adults to shop ! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. stood in line at the gun counter waiting to look at a scope. 4 employees, 2 customers. One employee left, one went in the back. Stood by 20 min waiting my turn. Decided to use toe QR code to hold my place in line. When a salesman became available he skipped me and took care of a group of young men who just walked up. I had three other items in my hands I planned to purchase. I know the clerk was aware I had been waiting because I was right next to him the whole time. Dropped my items on the counter and walked out. Will never return. Customer service is horrendous. read more

I've been to the Delaware store and few other around here and there and although they're all very big stores this store I believe is bigger then most. Of course walking in you're greeted by staff and the large openness of the store, the waterfall, fish tanks and taxidermy litter the store. The store has a cabin wilderness feel with a huge selection of merchandise, shirts, pants, jackets ,boots, guns ,camping and fishing, you name it the chances are it's in here. Every area has its own staff member, from the sunglasses to the boats/ATV area there's someone sitting around waiting to help you, you won't be chasing anyone down to get help here. Though they aren't the cheapest around they do sell quality products they pretty much have everything under the sun. So if you're into outdoor activities and want to get some products for your up coming camping or fishing trip, this is your store. read more

My Bernese Mountain Dog Cooper asked me to write a review for him because his paws are too big to type. He had the best time walking around the store while his Dad was shopping for a few things. All the employees made a big fuss over him and he loved the attention. Getting to go upstairs was a first for him while shopping. The whole experience was perfect especially when his Dad was able to find boots for work he was unable to find anywhere else. Cooper wants all furry friends to know they must give it a try and he will definitely be returning. Credit cards are accepted so I don't know why others said they are not. read more

This place is gigantic yet it is small compared to other BPS I've been to around the country. THis is the closest one to me and it's an hour and a half from home. I was at a show in AC and had time to duck in to pick up some fishing gear. I was in need of a new tackle box and BPS had just what I wanted. I was looking for a specific type of fishing line but they didn't carry it. I got a hold of some help from the fishing counter and the man explained that because they are a small store, they can't carry everything. He was very nice and courteous about it and suggested I go to Basspro.com. And yes they had it there. It's a cool place to walk around even if you're not a sportsman. I think this one in AC is bigger than the one in Connecticut. It's superlative in so many ways. It's not just for men. There's woman's and children's clothing as well. The fishing and hunting departments can leave you dazzled. With the Atlantic Ocean nearby it's a great way to try new equipment. The aquarium not only fascinates the children but grown ups as well. Since the fish have no predators or other stressors on them they become trophy size. It's in Tangers Mall so to speak. It's more like a shopping neighborhood in the old days. Not like the Tangers on the Island or Lancaster PA or most outlet stores, for that matter. There's no Shoppers guide or kiosk that offers a coupon book. I couldn't find it. The only drawback is the parking. They will validate it. I think you have to spend over $30. but you'll save $10. on the parking. read more

Once you walk thru the doors of Atlantic City Bass Pro shop, your transported to a woodsy, stream like state. You have all the tools necessary to live off the land. And trust me, you can after leaving this store. Bass Pro Shops sells fishing gear, hunting gear, all camping items as well as boats?! My wife & I walk in and see these fun looking pontoon boats. We walk on each boat, sit, dream about using it from June to August, its only $379 for 180 months. Easy peasy! I walk in and had a nice gentleman from the NRA asking me to sign a bunch of documents. I say, I support your right to bear arms but lemme be! Of course there's a Yeti cooler display. Just to tease me. The Yeti cooler is the swiss army knife of coolers, it does it all and does it well. My Thermos cooler does the job. The question is, do I want a Yeti cooler? Of course I do. When I climb Mount Kilimanjaro, I want to reach into my Yeti cooler and grab a Montauk Driftwood Ale out of the Yeti cooler. I'll know all is right with the world. This store is insane! One giant huge mega outdoorsman sports, clothing, and gear store. Built right smack dab in front of the Atlantic City casinos by the outlets and you see it as you're driving in as it's in front of the old Trump Plaza casino. If you or someone you know are into fishing, hunting, camping, boating, or any outdoors sports or activities this place has it all. It's the Home Depot of outdoors gear. Two levels packed with all kinds of stuff, with plenty of clothes, gifts, and accessories too. Great staff on hand to help out. Giant fish tank, and a fireplace with seating around to kick back and relax for a bit. It really is a wonderful looking store. The decor makes you feel as if you're in a giant hunting cabin resort deep in the woods. The day we were here they even had a winter wonderland set up with Santa's workshop and Santa himself on hand to take pictures with the kids. Yes, they actually celebrate Merry Christmas here and aren't afraid to do so! MURICA! I absolutely love a store like this. I better cut up my credit cards. You might not realize it, but this is by far the best place to have your kid take a picture with Santa Claus. Yes, Bass Pro Shops. It's free. You get one complimentary photo of your young toddler crying in Santa's lap. That's priceless. You can pay if you want more, but you don't need to. It's organized. Rather than wait in a line of 500 screaming kids like in A Christmas Story, they have a ticket system to keep things sane. Pick up a ticket for a time slot, browse the endless selection of camo and other outdoor gear, look at the fish, and even have your kid play at the sand table and with the crafts. All free. Then get in a short line when it's your time slot. It's as painless as it gets. Considering that some malls charge upwards of $50 or more for the same thing, you will even save money driving here. read more

To be honest, the only reason I first ended up here was because I was in a rush to meet friends and couldn't find any parking at the nearby restaurant. I happily paid the $10 later for the sake of convenience. (It's reimbursed if you spend a chunk of change inside the store.) Afterwards, I popped in. It was kinda of fun - there was a feeding demo of the fish in the giant aquarium, which kids loved. Shoe selection is small. Lots of camo! Note there aren't a whole lot of plus size options for us adventure gals - boo. Good place to pick up camping and fishing gear. read more

This is a really nice store with all kinds of cool hunting, fishing and other outdoor gear to look at. The parking lot was a bit annoying but it's in busy Atlantic City so that was to be expected. We were there the day of the Atlantic City Boat Show so it was busier than usual. We didn't end up buying anything that day, but we enjoyed looking around, especially at the boats on display. read more

Atlantic City is a parking nightmare with spaces often costing upwards of twenty bucks for a few hours. Well if you're going to spend twenty bucks and have nothing to show for it save for seething contempt for the nameless, faceless opportunistic fuck who owns the twenty dollar lot, I suggest coming here instead - Bass Pro Shops. Yes, if you have an active day of shopping planned at the nearby outlet stores, just plan on parking here. BPR will allow you to park in their lot so long as you spend money (30 bucks) in the store. I do the math. Seething contempt, which I'm already full of on most days, or buying something for thirty bucks which I probably don't need. I opt for the latter and buy a 200 dollar Yeti cooler, a new surf fishing reel and practically every kind of saltwater tackle you can imagine. I also got some men's active sportswear that looked good in the fitting room mirror and looked like hell when I got home. All in, I was seven hundred plus, but at least I got to park for free. read more

Go during the day time! This area becomes downright dangerous at night. Parking situation for paying customers is ridiculous. I waited 15minutes for a worker to be available to validate my parking. Then waited 10minutes to exit the parking lot due to line to pay. Ruined my first bass pro experience. I definitely will not be ticking off miles on my odometer to head back to pay for parking in a dead city. read more

One thing absolutely separates this store from most of its surroundings. It's a very important thing for Atlantic City. That thing is free parking. Of course since it's near the Boardwalk, there is a catch to this free parking. You have to spend $30 in the store to get it and it's only for four hours. But considering the parking garage nearest to the store at Caesars usually charges $25 on the weekends just to park, this is a bargain if you're at all outdoorsy and not planning on putting $250 through the machines to get free parking. Getting something for your parking "fees" is never a bad deal. Besides that perk, there is another one. All of their hunting gear is on the second floor. If someone in your life is opposed to hunting, this makes the shopping experience much more pleasant. Then again, taking them to REI instead of Bass Pro Shop can also do that. Even with the additional floor, the footprint of the first floor is amazing. I swear this location feels bigger than any other one I have been in with an amazing clothing selection and a beautiful fish tank right in the middle of the store as you walk in. The whole place is amazingly designed and everything is very easy to find. I still remember the hype that this place was supposed to save Atlantic City. I don't know if it will do that but it's a great addition to the heart of Boardwalk area. read more

For anyone that enjoys hunting and fishing this is absolute heaven. Walking into this store I was blown away. The building itself is HUGE. The parking lot that is provided is free with any purchase from Bass Pro Shop so keep that in mind. The building is two levels with foot ware and apparel downstairs and guns/ammunition upstairs. There is a huge fresh water aquarium smack dab in the center of the store with about 25-30 different fish and it is absolutely amazing. The also let you know on the loud speakers when they are going to feed the fish so you can watch. At every turn there is a taxidermy animal, you name it moose, bear, deer of all varieties, foxes, ducks they are everywhere! The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful with all questions you may have. They have a lot of home decor and cooking items for specific type of game which I also thought was pretty cool. You can tell that whoever built this store put a lot of time and thought into the over all look and it paid off it is absolutely amazing! read more

I would've never expected a Bass Pro Shops in the middle of AC but it's a welcome addition. The store isn't quite as large as a usual one but they have all the usual fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, camping, etc. gear. They also have a large section of outdoor clothing and lots of "home decor" type of stuff that your wife will probably hate like a shower curtain with a deer head or a set of red solo cup wine glasses. Don't miss the giant selection of Moon Pies, hard to find up north but they have em here. Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful without being pushy. Went in November to purchase a slug gun for the upcoming season. Although I wanted a specific one, I was open to others within a $1000 budget. Never got to exploring that because of rude the guy I drew at the counter was. Short, bald guy with glasses comes over and asks "What do you need?" When I mentioned the first gun he snapped "Good luck with that." Doesn't offer something comparable, nothing. Stares at me angrily. So instead of asking for other options I leave. Wound up ordering the gun I wanted from a firearms guy in town...cheaper. Bass Pro doesn't care if it loses a grand, glad I made some calls and helped the local guy out. Fast forward to hunting season. Looking for a specific ammo I know is tough to find, I call in to see if they have it. "Absolutely, just got a big delivery of it." Great, I get in the car and drive half hour. Welp, there's Napoleon again. Tell him what I need and I'm promptly told they don't have it. When I explained I called, he goes "I can't leave the counter, go see if you can find it and when I can I'll come over." He eventually sends someone else over to help me but to no avail. It's not there. All we get is, wasn't me on the phone. If you need anything firearms, check with your local FFL dealer. They can help you find better deals without the unnecessary attitude. read more

Not your typical bass pro. I visit a lot of them since I'm an avid bass tournament fisherman. First of all the bass fishing equipment is very limited. The rods selection was a 3rd the size of the one in Maryland or Hanover, pa. The prices are a little higher than normal, spinner baits were 11.49 for a terminator brand where tackle warehouse had the same at 8.99. The store mainly had clothing and apparel. Very disappointed with the amount of product. I rather drive to Maryland or Pennsylvania. read more

There was a manager type person watching the whole mess and another youngish woman directing customers to go to the customer service to pay. Bass Pro has engaged and continues to engage in Fraud, Bait & Switch, and Sales Advertising Practices even after they have been made aware in writing of their indiscretions! Specifically: Item : SKU # 2351493, WEB ID # 119592515 Plano XXL 108 Qt. Sportsman's Tote w/ Wheels. They are advertising this item at a reduced sale price and clearly in the picture and video of the item, as well as, the written description summary; it shows the item has wheels and a hinged lid. These are features I specifically needed in a product! However, several reviews from customers who ordered the product stated, "Item they shipped did not have wheels", Item that arrived did not have a hinge lid". etc. So with these misgivings in mind I called their 800 Customer Service number and spoke with a rep at great length providing him with the aforementioned SKU and WEB ID #'s as well as the product descriptions, discussed the negative reviews word for word and specifically, several of them not just one regarding this specific product and he assured me that it was all straightened out and the item I would be getting would have a hinged lid and wheels ad advertised, depicted, and outlined in the description. He stilled my forebodings by further assuring me verbally that Bass Pro Shops does not intentionally engage in Bait & Switch Tactics nor engages in False Advertisement actively online. Well this all turned out to be B.S. As, I received the two smaller sized Sportsman Totes I ordered the next day and did not receive the two larger ones immediately clueing me into a prospective problem. I phoned Customer Service again and spoke to a different lady who told me the exact opposite of what the first gentleman told me enticing me to order the bins and the units I would receive would not have a hinged lid or wheels as described. At this point I am furious with Bass Pro Shops. I spoke to a CSR Manager named Kyle Employee ID # 051344 and will be following up with Melanie Smith, Retail Administrator at the Corporate Office in Springfield Missouri on Monday. So far for my troubles and wasted time all I got was several empty apologies and a half assed promise of a $20.00 Gift Card for which I will not hold my breath! Update Forthcoming! read more
