My Mother, Brother, and I went into Baskin Robbin's to get ice cream, and a milkshake, while we were inside I decided I wanted a Mountain Dew. We made it to our house which by then we had never dropped it, opened it, nor even put it on the table and when I opened it, it never occurred to me that it had no sound when the cap came off. I took a sip and realized that it had no carbonation which seemed odd because we had pulled it from the front of the cooler and we had officially bought it about 10 minutes prior to the time of this incident. I walked over to my parents because I thought that it was so wild that I had received a "new" soda and it had no fizz. I handed the drink to my dad where him and my mom were sitting down on the couch and whenever he realized that I was serious he decided to check the expiration date and it was, " Sep/22/ 25" ( We purchased the drink on 6/8/26). At this time we were pretty suprised about this discovery and I decided I was going to call to ask about this and work something out, but I decided to have my dad speak for me. He called the Baskin Robins and we spoke to an employee who was named based off of the receipt we got " Krunal" and to which they said that they would call their manager and that whenever they got in touch with them to determine a solution. We got a call back from a manager named Heidi and she said that they could not do anything about which in return my dad said that he would hang up and expect a call back soon with a solution because by this time they should've already been able to come up with a simple fix. We received a call back and will be getting a refund in person the next day. There is no question about whether or not there were more expired drinks in the cooler by then but we decided we weren't going to do anything about it. read more
