Everything in the display case looked fresh and beautifully presented, and there were plenty of tempting options to choose from. We tried the "Dulce de Leche Cheesecake", "Pistachio Éclair", "Carrot Cake", "Hazelnut Crunch", and "Strawberry Shortcake", along with a "Latte" and "Dirty Matcha. The desserts were rich, flavourful, and nicely made, with each one offering its own unique texture and taste. The drinks paired well with the sweets. The staff were friendly, and the shop had a warm neighborhood feel. There's street parking available on Danforth Avenue.

The place is bright and oh so clean! Spotless is a word I would rarely apply to restaurants and such, but this place was spotless. Service was efficient and quick. I got a "Russian Chocolate Tale" and an Americano. The coffee was good, a sort of standard blend, not bitter, smooth. The Tale was chocolate mousse on top of a chocolate cookie covered by a layer of vanilla-ish mousse-ish and some pink stuff. (Can you tell I'm not a desserts expert?) Both mousses were delicate and not too sweet, but I got nothing from the outer pink layer. Their selection is an amazing array of standard Western European pastries and desserts. And a Dubai chocolate bar in the $30 adjacent area if you feel like being trendy. Overall, another fine addition to the many great bakeries and dessert places on the Danforth.

What finally convinced me to pop in was a sign outside advertising iced matcha (that gets me every single time). I went in mainly to check out the vibes and the interior did not disappoint. It's super cute, and I honestly felt fancy just standing inside. The staff were great, and they had a wide selection of beautiful pastries and cakes that looked incredible. I ordered an iced lavender matcha for myself, a pistachio macaron, and a mango passionfruit Italian soda for my mom. The matcha was okay... the lavender flavor was nice and pronounced, but the matcha base itself was a bit too watered down for my taste. Since it's not a dedicated matcha spot, I wasn't too surprised. My mom felt similarly about her Italian soda, mentioning it was a bit watery and not as sweet as she expected, so she didn't end up finishing it. The highlight of the visit was definitely the pistachio macaron. It was really good, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While the drinks were a bit of a miss for us, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again if I'm walking past just to grab another macaron or try one of their other treats.

A few flavours were moist and tasty without being overly sweet, though some were a bit sweet and slightly dry. The lemon meringue pie was the highlight at the party! It was perfectly tangy, smooth lemon filling and a beautifully toasted meringue. Would come back to try their other desserts and pastries.

The butter tart came in the traditional variety and it was probably my favorite traditional tart that I've had. Another spot here in town has my favorite tarts but this was definitely my favorite traditional one. 5 stars! This was our first time trying the Nanaimo bar, so we weren't sure what to expect. My first bite revealed a complex marriage of flavors and textures all coming together in harmony to create a delicious dessert that is sweet but harmonious in flavor and texture. It was better tasting than it looks by far, we were pleasantly surprised. The chocolate crunch on top to get to the soft creamy middle, to get the the nut based crust was such an amazing contrast in textures too!! 5 star dessert for sure. The lemon tart was okay, I've had better, it just wasn't giving / serving. This was a 3 star dessert. The blueberry cheesecake was soft, the crust was great, and the blueberry topping was yummy too. 4 star dessert! The ambiance here was very simple, a takeout bakery. The service, not sure if I have an opinion since I tried to call 5 times and each time they either picked up and couldn't hear me or they picked up and their fax machine came on and I couldn't hear than hahaha.
