This location is in a shopping complex. There's outdoor seating , which is a plus. We came here after a tour of the Kentucky castle. It was a nice little treat for the kids and they enjoyed it. I love Baskin Robbins. It's my favorite ice cream. I will go out of my way to go to a basket and Robbins. I live in Nicholasville. When I went into this location today, I went to the restroom. It was disgusting. Then I went out to order an ice cream and, the girl who was going to serve me, rubbed her mouth and nose then she walked over to the wash sink. I thought great. She's gonna wash her hands. She didn't use any soap. When she came over and asked me how she could help me. I asked her to please wash her hands with soap and I said it nicely. She rolled her eyes at me turned around. She did wash her hands and then she walked off and went to the back and did not serve me and I had to waitonce I did get someone to serve me they gave me the skimpiest scoop of ice cream. It was probably a junior size. I got charged full size. I am extremely disappointed with my visit today. read more

I always loved Baskin Robbins. All the best ice cream flavors! Staff was ok. Could be more friendly like greeting people coming in. The toppings were running low and should be filled. Definitely didn't look appealing. The case the cones are in could use a real good cleaning. A lot of cone crumbs on the bottom didn't look good. read more

I have eaten at this B/R for years and the ice cream and service has always been great. However, the experience has changed recently. while the ice cream is still good and the young staff is courteous and helpful, the business overall has gone downhill and is showing neglect. Half the lights are out, with just a few lights on. The dining area has appeared dirty on a few occasions, that is, what you can actually see due to the lighting. Also, the outside tables are in various state of disrepair, with paint coming off, loose seats, etc., along with busted outside trash cans. It's sad to see a restaurant neglected, especially one that you visit regularly. Don't let this review be a dealbreaker for going, just be aware it wasn't always like this. read more

This was my first time at Baskin Robins. I came on a Saturday afternoon - my friend and I were the only customers. Staff was friendly. There are lots of flavors to choose from - the classics like vanilla and chocolate chip, as well as non-traditional ones like Spider-Man and blueberry cheesecake, if you're feeling adventurous. There was one lactose-free option, which I thought was nice. There's also a selection of ice cream cakes. The place is very spacious. Ample seating. Good for families or friends to hang out. The ice cream itself was okay - not bad but nothing out of this world. I got one scoop of chocolate chip and cookie dough and one scoop of blueberry cheesecake. They are almost a bit too sweet for me. Greater's is still my favorite ice cream place in Lexington. read more

Not incidentally this is the second birthday that this has happened with Baskin Robbins. Not only that, the young woman behind the counter was licking her fingers as she was serving the ice cream. REALLY!? How did they make it right? They didn't. Refunded the cake and charged my son for his birthday cone. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Baskin Robbins is my favorite ice cream chain and the ice cream here was just as delicious. I tried the Icing on the Cake and decided on the Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. The only thing was the store didn't look the nicest or most attractive. Their chests actually weren't full of ice cream tubs, which was weird and they didn't have classic flavors of french vanilla. I mean it wasn't the most romantic setting, but I don't think it's to be expected. Their ice cream was yummy, which is most important. read more

When I brought it to their attention the guy just asked "would you like another scoop", and they picked up the fingernail off my napkin and threw it on the floor. Totally disgusting.
