Members of my group got an Email blast and it was out the door for some very delicious ice cream. You walk up to the truck and place your order. In moments voilà your ice cream is in hand ... not in your hand but in a cup . Speedy service. The ambiance well we were in the parking lot at a car dealership. It was a very hot day everyone enjoyed this unexpected treat.

My family and I visited this retro ice cream parlor for a treat after lunch one warm afternoon. My…read morestepmom talked about how good the ice cream was and the wide variety of flavors, both regular and boozey. So, we wanted to try it out. This small shop was absolutely perfect for the entire family. When you walk in, it's got a retro, "tye-dye" look and feel that brings you back decades. It's really fun and lots of memorabilia to bring people back. I think my personal favorite was the wall rotary phone, and challenging the kids to use it Once inside, we were greeted by the lone employee scooping the ice cream that day. She was fantastic, asking everyone if they wanted a sample of something and making sure we knew how the ice cream could be served, whether in a dish, a cone, or as a shake. We took our time but we all settled on something different. I picked out the "adult" butterscotch crunch shake. I would argue it might have been the best I've had in a long time! The flavor was amazing and, getting it as a shake, it tasted so smooth and creamy! We all enjoyed our ice cream, the ambiance, and the staff it was all around a great experience. I could only imagine the atmosphere and feel on a night with one of their activities such as trivia or karaoke. What a great shop!

I'd go back for another but it doesn't fit in with my diet LOL. My daughter had the strawberry lemon Italian ice and really enjoyed it. One of the things that sets them apart from say a Rita's Italian ice are the "layer in" items. You can add in stuff between your gelati layers, such as Oreo, Biscoff Butter Cookie Crumbles, Mini Chocolate Chips, Rainbow Sprinkles, or Chocolate Sprinkles. You can also just get the soft ice cream. I saw someone with a cone that was HUGE. They small sizes here are generous, but if you want to go big, then you definitely can! They also moved through the line quickly. It was busy when we went, but they were adept at getting all the orders done fast and efficiently. Will definitely return!

I'm genuinely sad to write this review--I truly wanted to give this place another five stars. I…read morehope the cafe takes this feedback to heart because this area really needs a great restaurant and coffee shop, and this spot has so much potential. The location is beautiful--right on the water--with a cozy, inviting interior that makes you want to stay a while. I've been here before, and my first visit left a better impression. The coffee was great that time, and I was excited to return. Unfortunately, my second visit didn't live up to the first. We ordered three coffees: the Snickerdoodle, Honey Bee, and Bean Redeem. All of them were overwhelmingly milk-forward with very little actual coffee flavor. The Snickerdoodle, which was supposed to have cinnamon notes, tasted mostly like vanilla and caramel. The Honey Bee didn't taste quite right, and the Bean Redeem lacked the white chocolate and toffee flavors advertised--it just came across as more vanilla. As for the food, we tried a variety: the biscuits and gravy, Sunrise Supreme, the Classic, and the Reg. Sadly, nothing stood out. The Reg and Classic were okay but lacked seasoning or anything memorable. The biscuits and gravy reminded us of the older McDonald's version--definitely not homemade. The Sunrise Supreme came on mini biscuits that were dry, and the sandwiches overall were just average. A recurring issue we noticed was that a lot of the items seemed prepackaged. The baked goods in the case looked like they came from Sam's Club. If the coffee had been excellent, we could have overlooked that--but with both the drinks and food falling flat, it's hard to justify a return visit right now. That said, I really want to see this place thrive. There's a great opportunity here to make it special: seasonal menus, house-made syrups, stronger flavor profiles in the coffee, and maybe even partnerships with local roasters and bakers. Showcasing fresh, local ingredients and dialing in the coffee recipes could turn this into a true gem. I'll be keeping an eye on this spot and genuinely hope to update this review in the future with a better experience.
