She was lovely and made the best drinks for my fiancé and I: a malt for him and a vanilla soda for me. Fast forward to today and there's a younger man behind the counter. I ordered the same vanilla soda and I should've known something was wrong when he asked me what kind of soda I wanted. He proceeded to scoop two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a cup and poured seltzer water in it, stirred it with a spoon and handed it to me. No vanilla syrup, no blending, nothing. I'm assuming he thought I meant an ice cream float but anyway, I digress. I walked out took a sip and walked right back in. I asked him to add syrup and blend it and he was as confused as he was when I walked in. At these prices, the least the shoppe can offer is consistency. For items ON YOUR MENU (not a made up off-menu item) employees should have a recipe or know what they're doing. I was uncomfortable with the entire transaction and wound up leaving dissatisfied with the same "soda". Don't think I'll be back UNLESS I see the same woman from the first time behind the counter. Save your money when she's not there.
