I love this ice cream shop as it reminds me of the BR I used to go to as a child but in Dearborn. (Sadly, has been gone for decades) This shop is always clean, staff are friendly and happy customers is their goal. My friend and I each got 2 scoops in a cup, servings were ample and our total was $14 and change. I had my all time favorite Peanut Butter Chocolat and flavor of the month Cinnamon Roll. My friend had her all time favorite Rocky Road and Pistachio Almond. The flavors were each delicious and plentiful with: PB swirls, mini chunks of cinnamon roll "dough", mini marshmallows, peanuts and pistachio/ almond bits. There are a good number of seats inside for this shop and several umbrella tables outside when the weather allows. They have coolers of hand packed pints to take home, ice cream cakes, etc. But the best part about this shop is when you walk in the door you are hit with the most delicious scent of their freshly rolled waffle cones! It's amazing, nostalgic and worth the trip! So if you like supporting local businesses I recommend you stop by and treat yourself! You'll be glad you did. read more

Normally when we go we get good service. Today, the nice lady who served me ( I think she runs the place) was great and I felt my two scoops were the right amount. However the young man that made my husband's hot fudge Sunday with two scoops- NOT- made the scoops very small. Neither of us was watching him, but when my husband went to take his first bite, it was obvious. He went back in and questioned the guy, and all he said was yes there's two scoops in there- NOT... but hubby didn't push it. My friend had us looking for ice cream cake for her ex's birthday. She said he liked chocolate and so this spot had the cake we needed. I put in a reserve and 1hr and half before we left, I went to pick up and was greeted by a nice associate behind the counter. "I'm here for that chocolate cake that we reserved on the phone." "Oh yes, we have it right here." She went, she fetches and I got rang up. "Our other associate will be doing the lettering in a couple of minutes, she just had to do something outside." It didn't take them very long to do the Happy Birthday Jason thing. So I packed it up, put it in the back of my car and off to Burndale we go. Best service ever!!!!! You won't be disappointed. I didn't know I had to pre order the Turkey ice cream cake and I waited for the last minute thinking I can just go to the store and pick one up. Nope! I had to call at least 5 stores around me and they all said they're out of stock- some even hanged up on me as soon as they said no . I really wanted it for my kids birthday so this store at Allen park called me back same day within a few minutes and asked me if I'm still interested in one and I said yes. They told me it'll be ready in a few hours and they called me much sooner saying they finished it and it's ready for pickup. Seriously they went above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer and cater to me. I won't ever forget that. The baker was so sweet and helpful. I'm a forever customer at this location on Allen road. I received free gift cards to Baskin Robbins from T-Mobile, so I decided to go with a friend. He got some cookie sandwich, and I tried the Pumpkin Cheesecake flavor, single scoop. They were able to scan my phone for multiple gift cards, without issue. I thought it was overly sweet. Furthermore, they don't indicate whether they have any products that are free from high fructose corn syrup. Perhaps I should have tried more samples. The ice cream quickly started melting and dripping on my hand. I should have opted for the cup. For $3.00, 20 cents more, I can buy a full carton of Breyers, which only uses real sugar. 2.3 out of 5 stars, because it was a fun, clean place to go with a friend. read more

Very clean ice cream shop, not as busy but the owners are very nice and always allow my nieces and nephews to sample whichever ice cream they want until they decide on their final choice. They have beautiful ice cream cakes, and many places to sit and enjoy your treat. Also have outdoor seating, love that. Oh and my only flavor I love and always get is black cherry. Yummy. We stopped in to order an ice cream cake for my son's 3 year old birthday. When we came to pick it up as scheduled on his birthday, they had forgotten to make the cake. My son was devastated. Their "solution" was that we could order a different cake for 3 dollars off that they had available. I understand that mistakes happen, but what a terrible effort to fix their error. You mean I can still pay almost full price for a cake I did not specifically order? We obviously will not continue to support their business, and I want to make others aware of their complete lack of effort (and failure to take accountability) to correct their error. read more

I stopped in here on my way to a meeting. This was my first visit here. The two young women working the counter were nice. I ordered a large chocolate malt. It was very thin and warm. It was more like a cup of chocolate milk. For $7 you would think they would know how to make a malt or shake. I'll drive a little further to a Dairy Queen and get a real malt. read more

I love coming here for those Oreo milkshakes one of the best shakes I ever tried and I'll keep coming here as long as they are serving it! My only issue is sometimes they are inconsistent with the thickness of the shake which can sometimes play a roll in taste but other then that still good! read more

My grandma and I have a tradition of getting banana splits on the hottest days of the summer from Baskin Robbins in Allen Park then bring them home to eat while watching a movie ever since I was 5 years old (I am 25 now). We went today and the owner was working. We brought our own Baskin Robbins containers because the last time we went he said that the containers we were used to getting our banana splits in cost more so he would only put them in the smaller clear plastic ones. We prefer the larger quart like ones because it is easier for my grandma to eat out of. We understood that, so we brought our own to save him money and my grandma would be able to get the container she likes. He laughed at her when she handed the container to him and tried to explain what she wanted. He was extremely rude to my her and when I was trying to explain what she wanted he cut me off and put his finger out to me to shut me up. When I was paying I kindly explained to him that I felt he was very rude to my grandma and that really upset me. He replied with "I wasn't rude but I'm sorry if you felt that way." with a very condescending smile. When we got to the car we noticed he didn't put whipped cream, nuts or a cherry which is something my grandma looks forward to. I have never wrote a review on Yelp. I have worked in management positions in costumer service in the past, so I am very patient and understanding if I have ever had a bad experience, but the way he spoke to my grandma and I really upset me. read more

We have been a customer for over 20 years except for the past couple of years, due to dissatisfaction. Tonight we said let's give it a chance. There were two young women working. One was waiting on a family and she gave good sized scoops. The other one Martina was cleaning to close and did a very poor job of filling our order. We both ordered 2 scoops in a cup. After paying 10.58 we looked and the families 1 scoops we bigger than our two. The cups were squashed and when we questioned and the size Martina became snotty, when we asked for the managers she sort of made a new cup with 1 1/2 scoops and was very condescending. We will be calling Pam in the morning. This kind of attitude and service has been the hallmark of this store. Should be Baskin Robs you......this is why we go to DQ! They have courtious service with measured servings......maybe the speed of team is the speed of the leader. read more
